Place down rod (3) into the canopy (1) and coupling cove(2). Feed m motor
wires through the down rod assembly (3). Put the wires through the down rod/canopy
assembly and insert the down rod into the yoke like the picture shows. Make
sure to align the hole in the down rod with the hole in the yoke. Install yoke
cross pin (1) through the yoke and down rod. Insert clamp pin (2) into the
cross pin until it snaps into place. Tighten set screws (3) in the yoke.
MOUNTING SAFETY CABLE INSTALLATION
Carefully lift the fan assembly onto the mounting bracket. Rotate the fan until it notch on down rod ball (1) engages the ridge on the mounting bracket (2).
WIRING OPTIONS
Make wiring connections from the house and the fan to the Remote Receiver (2) as shown. Make sure that all exposed wiring is secured inside wire nuts (1) (provided). Refer to Point4 of Safety Tips on page 2.
MOUNTING
Once the wiring is connected, slide in the wired Remote Receiver between the bracket and the top of the down rod ball.
SECURE TO CEILING
Loosen the 2 screws on the bottom of the mounting bracket but do not remove them. Raise the canopy and align the keyholes on the bottom of the canopy with the 2 screws on the bottom of the mounting bracket. Rotate the canopy until both screws from the mounting bracket drop into the slot recesses. Tighten screws securely.
LIGHT FIXTURE INSTALLATION
Remove the three mounting screws from the light kit. Make wiring connections for the fan motor assembly to the light kit as shown. Make sure that all exposed wiring is secured inside wire nuts(1). Install the 3 screws removed from the light kit (step # 12) into the closed-hole on the light kit. Tighten all the screws to complete the attachment of the light kit.Install 5 E26 light bulbs(not included)
Remove the 4 fixing screws from the light kit pan. There are 4 slots on the metal cage. Raise the metal cage by aligning the 4 slots to the 4 round holes from the light kit pan. Install the 4 screws removed previously into the round holes of the light kit pan and tighten all 4 screws securely.
REMOTE BRACKET INSTALLATION
Note: We provided a remote holder for each ceiling fan light. You can install it on the wall with included screws according to your needs.
HOW TO OPERATE YOUR CEILING FAN
Restore electrical power to the outlet box by turning on the electricity at the main fuse box. Install a 23A 12V battery(Not Included) into the hand-held remote to operate the fan or light(Note: if not used for long periods, remove the battery to prevent damage to the remote).
- The remote control adopts RF wireless digit emission technique, biunique controlled. the coincident code rate is less than one-millionth.
- The remote and receiver on the fan are pre-matched at the factory. Please follow step#3 if they don’t work well.
- Turn off the fan power and then restore it, press and hold the “stop” button on the remote for 3 seconds, within 10 seconds after you restore the power, then you’ll hear a beep sound from the fan, with the light, flashes twice, which means the pairing process is completed.( NOTE : The pairing process is not accepted after 10 seconds when you restore supply power) Please note that the remote can pair with multiple fans. When the remote does not control the fan, please check if any similar remote controls are working nearby, disconnect them, and then proceed with the pairing process again.
- Put the remote away from excessive heat or humidity place.
- The battery of low power or not used for a long time should be replaced.
REMOTE CONTROL
The remote buttons function as follows:
-
Turn On the fan and control the speed

MAINTENANCE
- Because of the fan’s natural over ent, some connections may become loose. Please check the support connections, brackets, and blade attachments twice a year to make sure they are secured.
- Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years. Do not use water when cleaning. This could damage the motor, or the wood, or possibly cause electrical shock.
- Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching it. The plating is sealed with a lacquer coating to m in minimizing discoloration or tarnishing.
- The motor has permanently lubricated bearings.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
If you have difficulty operating your new ceiling fan, it may be the result of incorrect assembly, installation, or wiring. In some cases, these installation errors may be mistaken for defects. If you meet any issues, please check this troubleshooting chart. If a problem cannot be remedied, please email us at amazon-vip-service@l63.com. Do not attempt any electrical repairs yourself.
TROUBLE | SUGGESTED REMEDY |
---|---|
1. If the fan does not start: |
-
check main and branch circuit fuses or circuit breakers.
-
check wire connections as performed in step #9 of the installation. CAUTION: Make sure the main power is turned off
-
Make sure the forward/reverse switch is firmly in the up or down position. The fan will not operate when the switch is in the middle.
-
If the fan still doesn’t start, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to troubleshoot internal electrical connections yourself.
-
If the fan sounds noisy:|
-
check to make sure all screws in motor housing are snugged (not overtightened).
-
check to make sure the screws which attach the fan blade holder to the motor are tight.
-
Some fan motors are sensitive to signals from Solid State variable speed controls. DO NOT Use a Solid State variable speed control.
-
Allow a “break-in” period of 24 hours. Most noises associated with a new fan will disappear after this period.
3. If the fan wobbles:| All blades are weighed and grouped by weight. Natural woods vary in density which could cause the fan to wobble even though all blades are weight-matched. The following procedures should eliminate most of the wobble. check for wobble after each step.
-
check that all blades are screwed firmly into blade holders.
-
check that all blade holders are tightened securely to the motor.
-
Make sure that the canopy and mounting bracket are tightened securely to the ceiling joist.
-
If blade wobble is still noticeable, interchanging two adjacent (side by side) blades can redistribute the weight and possibly result in a smoother operation.
-
If the light does not work:|
-
check to see that the wire connections in the switch housing are connected.
-
check for light bulbs.
-
If the light kit will still not operate, contact a qualified electrician for assistance.
