Anion button: Ion generator On/Off – generates negatively charged ions (anions) and small amounts of ozone. This increases the cleaning performance, as the anions combine with positively charged dirt particles in the room air to form larger clusters. These can then be filtered out more easily by the internal filters.
Warning – Ozone Do not use this function if you are sensitive to ozone, in bedrooms, in rooms where children are present and in rooms with tobacco smoke. Pets might also feel disturbed. -

takes some time. Formaldehyde removal: lights up during automatic
operation
Auto: Automatic mode selected via the Auto button (20). The built-in air
quality sensor controls the fan speed.
Filter
Filter change indicator.Flashes when filter needs to be replaced.
- The air purifier calculates arequired filter change according to its service life.
- The change indicator lights up when the filter should be replaced to ensuresufficient air purification.
- With daily use, the combi-filter should be used up after approx. 6-12 months.
- Since the filter contains all the collected pollutants, it should only be changed outdoors and with appropriate careagainst contact contamination (gloves/respiratory protection).
- The filter is not washable.
- An unpleasant odour during operation may indicate that filtered substances aredecomposing in the filter (e.g. bacteria) and it needs to be replaced or ventilated in the sun.
- Vacuum the filter and the inner housing every 1to2months to remove coarse dirt. Then place the filter outdoors in direct sunlight for approx. 3hours to dry it and eliminate any bacteria, viruses etc. that may be present through the UV rays.
- Also hold the vacuum cleaner against the open sensor opening (2) to clean it.
- The filter can then possibly be reused. The filter must be replaced after 1year at the latest. On the one hand, thereisarisk that it will no longer completely remove the particles mentioned from the air or that the pollutant particles already in the filter will be released again. The activated charcoal also loses its effect when unpacked.
- After changing the filter, reset the indicator by pressing the Filter button (17) on the device.
Displays
-
Speed: Display of the set fan speed
-
PM 2.5: in μg/m³; display of measured fine dust particles with an aerodynamic diameter Ø 2.5μm (0.5 to 3.5μm).
Typical concentrations in homes are 20 to 30 μg/m³. -
Air Quality: After switching on the device, the display flashes until the sensor has warmed up. After that, the display visually shows the indoor air quality.
Green stands for good quality
Orange stands for normal quality
Red stands for poor quality -
If the humidity in the room is very high, condensation can form on the sensor and negatively affect the display and cause switching back and forth in automatic mode. In this case, use the air purifier with a manual speed setting.
-
Temp/Humidity: Display alternates between the indoor air temperature and humidity display.
-
Timing: Display of the running time preselected via the Timing button (16)

- Remove the valve cover (10) and rinse the water tank (9) thoroughly with lukewarm water.Ifthereare limescale deposits or slight soiling in the tank, conventional domestic washing-up liquid, universal descaler (mixed according to the manufacturer’s specifications) or e. g. 3teaspoonfuls of vinegar added to 500 ml of water can be used.
- Then rinse the water tank (9) out thoroughly with plain water.
Cleaning the water storage container
- On the underside of the device is an outlet opening (12+13) for the water storage container. For safety, this outlet opening (12+13) is double-sealed with acover cap (13) and astopper (12).
- Position the device so that the cover (13) and stopper (12) can be removed in an upright state. The device must not be tipped over since this can cause water to spill out of the tank.
- Place acatching container under the air purifier.
- Fill the water tank with clean water.Ifthereare limescale deposits or slight soiling in the tank, conventional domestic washing-up liquid, universal descaler (mixed according to the manufacturer’s specifications) or e.g. 3teaspoonfuls of vinegar added to 500 mL of water can be used.
- Screw the valve cover (10) tight and insert the water tank in the device so that the mixtureruns into the storage container (11) and cleans it.
- Remove the water tank (9) again.
- Then remove the cover cap (13) and the stopper (12) and allow the water /cleaning solution to run into the catching container underneath.
- Repeat the process if necessary, depending on the degree of soiling.
- Finally, rinse the storage container (11) thoroughly with plain water and allow it to dry completely.
- Finally, rinse the water tank (9) thoroughly with plain water and allow it to dry completely with the valve cover (10) open.

The principle of air purification
- Afan in the device draws in room air via the air inlets.
- The pre-filter is located at the top of the filter system for the initial filtration of impurities. Larger particles such as dandruff, hair and dust are filtered out.
- Afterwards, the sucked-in air flows through the Hepa 13 filter. The abbreviation HEPA stands for “High Efficiency Particulate Air”. The HEPA filter consists of avery fine fibre material. It has the ability to capture the smallest particles down to a size of between 0.1 to 0.3 μm, achieving a separation efficiency of 99.95%. Thus, it can filter bacteria (0.6 to 1.0 μm); fine dust (0.1 -10μm) and pollen (10 -100 μm) from the air.
- The air then flows through an activated charcoal filter with the acold catalyst layer
- It filters out formaldehyde, benzene, other gases and unpleasant odours. Activated charcoal has an excellent absorption capacity. It can deodorise, dehumidify and in some cases trap viruses and have a sterilising effect.
- The ioniser releases negatively charged ions into the air. These combine with the positively charged dirt particles to form larger particles that can be separated more easily.
- The filtered air is discharged into the room at the air outlet.
