IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE
DANGER – To reduce the risk of electric shock:
- Always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
- Do not reach for a product that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
- Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
- Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
- Do not place in or drop into water or other liquids.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury to persons:
- An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use, and before putting on or taking off parts.
- This massager is not a toy!
- Consult your doctor before using in case of pregnancy, illness, medical condition, or persistent pain.
- Unplug this appliance before filling. DO NOT OVERFILL.
- For best results, we recommend you use distilled water only. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER LIQUIDS SUCH AS MEDICATED TREATMENTS OR ESSENTIAL OILS with the reservoir.
- Do not use hot water. Do not fill reservoir directly from a faucet. Use enclosed fill cup for proper measurement.
- To avoid burning do not touch the metal fill reservoir.
- Do not use on any unexplained pain or swollen muscles, or following a serious injury, before consulting your physician.
- To reduce the risk of injury, place the appliance on a flat, horizontal and stable surface. Do not place or use the appliance on a slippery surface.
- Do not use massager in close proximity to loose clothing or jewelry.
- Keep long hair away from massager while in use.
- Never operate on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked.
- Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons.
- Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by Conair.
- Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
- Do not carry this appliance by the supply cord or use the cord as a handle.
- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
- Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not use the steam feature without the cover and fill door on the base.
- To avoid burning do not place your hand over the water reservoir when steaming.
- Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
- Do not handle plug with wet hands.
- Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the controls or removing the plug.
- To disconnect, turn all controls to the OFF position, then remove plug from outlet.
- This appliance is for household use only.
- Never use while sleeping or drowsy.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- After use, allow massager to cool completely before transporting, emptying the water reservoir, or storing.
- Use heated surface carefully. May cause serious burns. Do not use over insensitive skin areas or in the presence of poor circulation. The unattended use of heat by children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous.
- Burns may result from improper use.
- Temperatures sufficiently high to cause burns may occur regardless of the control setting. Do not use on an infant or invalid or on a sleeping or unconscious person. Do not use on insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation. Check the skin in contact with the heated area of the appliance frequently to reduce the risk of blistering.
- Connect this appliance to a properly grounded outlet only. See grounding instructions.

CAUTION
- Consult your doctor before using in case of illness or medical condition, including but not limited to pacemaker use, pregnancy, cancer, infection, fracture, or persistent pain.
- Do not use if you have any of the following conditions: diabetes, tuberculosis, benign or malignant tumors, phlebitis or thrombosis, hemorrhages, open or fresh wounds, ulcerated sores, varicose veins, poor circulation or bruised, discolored, burned, broken, swollen, or inflamed skin or heat sensitivity.
- This product should not be used by any individual suffering from a condition that limits or altogether inhibits the user’s capacity to feel or have sensation in any part of the body.
- If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom of a more serious condition.
- U se of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your physician.
- If the user empties water contrary to instructions, a small amount of water may issue from the drain hole. This is normal, as it is a safety measure to prevent water ingress. Wipe floor with dry cloth, to avoid any damage.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current, to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances
DANGER – Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the product – if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
This product is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and has a grounding
plug that looks like the plug illustrated in sketch (Fig. 1). A temporary
adapter that looks like the adapter illustrated in sketches (Fig. 2 and Fig.
3) may be used to connect this plug to a 2-pole receptacle as shown in sketch
(Fig. 2), if a properly grounded outlet is not available. The temporary
adapter should be used only until a properly grounded outlet (Fig. 1) can be
installed by a qualified electrician.
The green rigid ear or lug extending from the adapter must be connected to a
permanent ground, such as a properly grounded outlet box cover. Whenever the
adapter is used, it must be held in place by a metal screw.

USER MAINTENANCE
- Your massager is designed for household use, and is virtually maintenance free. No lubrication is needed. To clean the massager, use a damp cloth with water only. Do not use any strong chemical cleaners.
- If the cord or massager is damaged or does not operate properly, return it to an authorized service center. Any required servicing should be performed by a Conair authorized service center. This appliance has no user serviceable parts.
- Never allow the power supply cord to be excessively pulled or twisted. Inspect the cord frequently for damage. Stop use immediately if damage is visible or unit stops or operates intermittently. Never wrap the cord around the appliance.
STORAGE
When not in use, your massager should be disconnected and stored in a safe, dry location, out of the reach of children. Be sure to empty any remaining water prior to storing. Empty over a sink from the back of the unit, being careful to avoid spilling water over the plug area.
RECOMMENDED MASSAGING TIMES
- Generally, steam massage should last 20 minutes per fill-up, on each hand. Massage may be used once or twice daily.
- As people’s metabolisms vary, so do their responses to massage. You will soon know how to adjust the time to suit your particular needs and personal comfort. If you have any doubts regarding treatment, we recommend you consult your physician.
HOW TO USE
- Ensure the unit is unplugged. Remove reservoir door. Fill the enclosed fill cup to the MAX fill line with distilled water. Do not use any other liquids. Pour water into the reservoir in the back of the massager. Replace the reservoir door. Do not exceed the maximum fill line when filling the appliance. DO NOT OVERFILL
- Place on a water-resistant surface. Do not place on a porous surface, such as wood. Plug the massager into the wall outlet.
- Press the steam button and allow 3 minutes for the unit to warm up and start steaming.
- To turn on infrared and vibration, press corresponding buttons on the front of the unit. The corresponding LED indicators will illuminate in red.
- Remove all jewellery, including a watch. Place your hand under the dome of the massager and rest it on the center section. Keep your hand flat. If temperature gets too hot, remove your hand from the massager. DO NOT ARCH YOUR HAND, as this may block the steam.
- Allow the steam to penetrate and hydrate your skin while enjoying a gentle, soothing massage.
- Leave your hand in the massager for a maximum of 20 minutes. Refill reservoir with enclosed fill cup and repeat for your other hand. Maximum 20 minutes use per 20ml. fill-up.
- After use, press buttons on the front of the unit to turn off features being used. The corresponding LED indicator light will turn off. With dry hands, remove plug from the wall. Wait for unit to cool. Empty remaining water from
the front of massager and wipe the inside cover with a dry cloth to remove water droplets.

Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your appliance free of charge for 12 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the service center listed on back, together with your sales slip and $12.00 for postage and handling. California residents need only provide proof of purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period will be 12 months from the date of manufacture. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 12-MONTH DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
