MOUNTING/INSTALLATION
- Mount the timer on a wall near a GFCI receptacle using a screw or nail. Install timer as far above ground level as possible with receptacle facing downward. Do not install where the timer can be immersed or where water will splash or drip onto the receptacle. Screw or nail head must extend at least 3/16in. from the wall (nail or screw not included).
- Hang the timer from the hole at the top of the unit
SETUP
The built-in sensor automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn
- to test the product, plugin, and cover sensor. The light triggers immediately and stays on until dawn. This test mode is only available for the first time after being plugged in. The timer will have a 30-second delay after the initial test mode.
- Plugin the light or other device. If the connected device has a switch, it must be in the ON position.
Note: To ensure proper operation of the automatic function, ensure the
photocell sensor is shielded from all nighttime sources of light, such as
floodlights. Also, ensure the photocell sensor has direct access to sunlight
