A proof of purchase must be provided with the tool.
If upon inspection it is found that a fault pccurring is due to defective materials or workmanship, repairs will be carried out free of charge. The guarantee period covering parts/labour is 12 months from the date of purchase. This guarantee does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any damage caused by misuse, careless or unsafe handling, alterations, accidents, or repairs attempted or made by any personnel other than the authorised Draper warranty repair agents.
Note: If the tool is found not to be within the Terms of Warranty, repair and carriage charges will be quoted and made accordingly.
This guarantee applies in lieu of any other guarantee expressed or implied and variations of its terms are not authorised.
Your Draper guarantee is not effective unless you can produce upon request a dated receipt or invoice to verify your proof of purchase within the guarantee period.
Please note that this guarantee is an additional benefit and does not affect your statutory rights.

OPERATING THE SAFE
OPENING YOUR SAFE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Upon first opening, users should open the safe with the emergency key. The operation details refers to “opening the safe with the emergency key”.
- Remove emergency lock cover, then insert the emergency key, and turn it counter clockwise.
- Turn the lock knob clockwise to open the door.
CAUTION: Finish operation, pull out the emergency key, and keep it in a safe place.
DO NOT LOCK EMERGENCY KEYS INSIDE THE SAFE!
INSERTING/REPLACING THE BATTERIES
- Open the door.
- Insert 4x AA batteries into the battery compartment.
- Under normal condition, if the LED display shows *LO-BAT”, you should change the batteries after entering “START” button.
CAUTION: Replace 4 fresh batteries by lining them up in a manner as indicated by the “+” and ” – ” signs. If the batteries have run out or have been removed for thirty minutes or longer, you should reset the user code.
OPENING DOOR
- Press “START” button, and the LED display will show “—“
- Input your user code (6 digits), NOTE: The preset code is 123456 until user has reset, Please see setting user code (6.5). The safe will be unlocked and the green light will display on the key pad.
- Turn the knob clockwise and open the door.
CAUTION: The safe has the function of auto locking, if there has not been any operation after inputting the code, the safe will lock utomatically
again. If you input the wrong code three times, the safe will lock automatically for 3 minutes.
CLOSING DOOR
- Turn the lock knob counter clockwise to lock the door.
SETTING USER CODE
- With the door open, press “START” button, the LED display will show”—–“.
- Input your new user code (6 digits), and press the “RESET” button to confirm.
- The display will show “USER-IN™ to indicate the code setting is successful.
SETTING THE MASTER CODE
- With the door open, press the “RESET” button, the LED display will show*—“.
- Then press the “START” button, and “–—”on the LED display will stop flashing, which indicates the lock has entered into the state of code setting.
- Input any 6 digit code, LED display will show “SUPER-IN”
- The display will show “SUPER-IN” to indicate the master code setting is successful.
OPENING THE SAFE IN EMERGENCY
If the electronic circuit malfunctions or the code is unknown. You are still able to use the safe with the 2x emergency keys supplied.
PLEASE NOTE: Each safe is supplied with 2x emergency keys, these are to
be kept in a safe place (NOT INSIDE THE SAFES.
Draper Tools will not be held liable for any lost keys.
Replacement keys are available for a limited time – but due to the security
requirements for safes, the minimum lead time for replacement Keys is 30 days
as each key is individually manufactured for each lock. Replacement keys are
not covered by our warranty and are chargeable.
- Remove the cover of the emergency lock (remove batteries if fitted).
- Insert the emergency key to the keyhole, turn counter clockwise, then turn the knob clockwise to open the door.

SECURE SAFE TO WALL/FLOOR
- Drill holes for expansion bolts (or clamping screws).
- Turn the expansion bolts counterclockwise to separate.
- Use the expansion bolts to secure the safe to the wall/floor.
- Make sure the safe is mounted in place as required and then tighten all screws.
