Installing Your Device
1. Pull out the insulation sheet;
2. Set up
Desktop installation
Downloading the Govee Home App
What you need:
- Download the Gove Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
- A smartphone or tablet running iOS 9.3 (or above) or Android 4.3 (or above).
Connecting to Wi-Fi
Notice:
Please make sure the Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands before connecting.
Turn on Bluetooth and connect your phone to Wi-Fi
Open Gove Home, tap the “+” icon at the top right corner “My Devices”, select
“H5051”
Select “H5051_XXXX”
Press and hold for 3 seconds. Name the device.
Enter the password of Wi-Fi. More functions for you after connecting successfully.
If the connection fails, please check the above steps and try again.
Using Your Device
Control the device with Gove Home.
Unit Switch
Switch temp unit in-app (Note: Temp unit in export data is the same as that
in-app).
Data Export
Export data in CSV format after filling in email and time slot.
Alert me
The app pushes alert messages once temp/humidity is beyond preset range.
Calibration
Calibrate temp/humidity data.
Upload Interval
Change data upload intervals.
Reset Wi-Fi
Switch to a new Wi-Fi.
Delete Data
Delete data stored onboard and in Cloud.
Troubleshooting
1. Fail to control the device in-app.
a. Make sure your phone is within Bluetooth-enabled range.
b. Keep your phone as close as possible to the device.
2.No/Delayed message alert.
a. Check whether the Wi-Fi connection and phone signal are stable.
b. Make sure Govee Home is allowed on your phone.
c. Keep the device close to the router.
d. No obstacles between device and router are suggested.
e Lost Wi-Fi connection frequently.
a. Set up the device within the Wi-Fi-enabled range (less than 30m/98ft).
b. No obstacles between device and router are suggested.
Warning
1. Please make sure the device works within operating temp/humidity.
2. Do not disassemble it violently.
3. Keep the devices away from water.
