Installing your Device

Open up the cover and take out the insulation sheet;

Install the bracket.
a. Mount it on the wall via 3M adhesive.
b. lnsert in to bracket and place on the table
Downloading the Govee HomeApp
What you need:
- Download the GoveeHome app from the App Store (i0S devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
- A smartphone or tablet running iOS 9.3 (or above) or Android 4.3 (or above).
Connecting to Wi-Fi
Notice : Please make sure the Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands before connecting.

Turn on Bluetooth and connect your phone to Wi-Fi.

Open Govee Home, tap “+” icon at the top right corner in “My Devices”, select “HSO71”.

Select “HSO71_XXX”.

Press the button and hold for 3 seconds.

Name the device.

Enter the password of Wi-Fl.

If connection fails, please check above steps and try again.
Using your device
- Control the device with Govee Home
Works with Alexa
- Tap “My Devices” in App and enter into device setting page;
- Tap setting icon at the top right corner and follow on-screen instructions in “Using Guidance”.
Troubleshooting

The device doesn’t work
a. Check whether the insulation sheet has been pulled out.
b. Check whether batteries are low. -
Fail to control the device in App
a. Make sure your phone is within Bluetooth-enabled range.
b. Keep your phone as close as possible to the device. -
No/Delayed message alert
a. Check whether Wi-Fi connection and phone signal are
b. Make sure Govee Home is allowed in your phone.
c. Keep the device close to the router.
d. No obstacles between device and router is suggested. -
Lost Wi-Fi connection frequently
a. Set up the device within Wi-Fi-enabled range (less than 30m/98ft).
b. No obstacles between device and router is suggested.
Warning
- Please make sure the device works within operating temp/humidity.
- Do not disassemble it violently.
- Keep the devices away from water.
