Pairing the earbuds
- Take out either earbud from the charging case, the earbud will automatically turn on and enter pairing mode (indicator light flashes red & green simultaneously).
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on a mobile device. Then select either Octave 200-L or Octave 200-R on the device available list. For mobile phones with iOS systems, please select “Accept” during the second prompt for the connection with “Headset”. For a mobile phone with an Android™ system, please select “Pair” during the second prompt for the connection with Octave 200-L or Octave 200-R (the other earbud name).
- Once pairing is successful, the indicator on the selected earbud will turn off. A prompt tune will confirm that the earbuds are connected. Bluetooth status on the mobile screen will also display “Connected” under the name “Octave 200-L” or “Octave 200-R”.
- Now both earbuds are registered so the mobile devices will be able to automatically switch between earbuds depending on user preference as a stereo pair or single side earbud.
- Earbuds are now ready to use.
- To improve the sound volume and especially sound quality, please install the correct size of earbuds adapters (included) that fits properly to your ear canal.
- User is required to pair both Octave 200-L and Octave-R to enjoy the convenience of using either of the earbuds independently.
Charging operation
Initial use of the earbuds
- With the earbuds placed inside the charging case, connect the charging cable (included) to the charging port on the back of the charging case and the other end of the charging cable to a workable USB power source.
- Earbuds are fully charged once the power indicator light on each earbud turns off.
Recharging earbuds/charging case
- Recharge earbuds by inserting both earbuds into the charging case firmly. The indicators on earbuds will light up in red to confirm that charging starts.
- Red indicator light on the earbuds will be “on” during the charging process and will turn off once the earbud is fully charged. Charging time may vary based on the battery level of the charging case.
- Recharge the charging case by connecting the USB charging cable (included) to the charging port on the back of the charging case and the other end to a USB power source or using a wireless charge pad.
- Status lights at the front of charging case will flash green slowly during the charging process and will turn to solid green once the charging case is fully charged.
Note: Recharging the charging case through wireless charging pad will generate heat on the bottom of the charging case due to energy conversion.

turn off and start charging

Troubleshooting
Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |

Earbuds are not charging | • Battery level in charge case is low |

Audio conversation

200-R” from the Bluetooth device list on your mobile device.
Re-initiate the pairing process

Resetting the earbuds
If steps above cannot resolve the issues, reset the earbuds with the following steps.
- Press and hold the multi-function touch button until all indicator lights turn off and then flash rapidly in green.
- Put both earbuds back into the charging case to reinitiate pairing (indicator lights will change from flashing green to solid red}.
- Remove Octave 200-L and Octave 200-R from the Bluetooth device list in your mobile device.
- Restart pairing of Octave 200 by following the pairing steps on page 1.

as intended for 3 years from the date of purchase by the original customer. If
the product has any defects or does not work as specified during the Warranty
Period, Officeworks will, at its election and at its expense, repair or

- to cosmetic damage;
- to damage caused by consumables used in connection with the product (such as batteries);
- where the product has not been used in accordance with all provided instructions;
- to damage arising from fair wear and tear;
- where the product has not been subject to reasonable use;
