INTRODUCTION
The Elger Arla 3.5 L Dlgltal Air Fryer gives you a convenient way to cook all
your favorite foods, using little or no oil for deliciously healthy results.
Easy to use thanks to the intuitive touch screen controls with 7 cooking pre-
set functions, 30-minute timer and adjustable temperature settings, this Eiger
Aria 3.5L Digital air fryer circulates hot air around the chamber for rapid,
thorough cooking. Preheating in just 5 minutes,
the 1300 -1500 W unit has a removable non-stick frying basket for simple
cleaning and a recipe booklet is included so you can get started right away.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Automatic switch off:
The Air Fryer has a buih-in timer, which will automatically shut down the Air
Fryer when it reaches zero. You can manually switch off the Air Fryer by
removing the Frying Basket.
Removing the Frying Basket:
The pan and frying basket can both be removed fully from the Air Fryer. Pull-
on the handle to slide the pan and frying basket out of the Air fryer. Push
the handle release button cover forwards. There is a small button on the top
of the handle. Push it down and lift upwards to remove the frying basket from
the pan.
Using the appliance:

Place the Air Fryer on a stable, horizontal, and even surface.
Do not place the Air Fryer on non-heat resistant surfaces. -
Put the basket in the pan. Do not fill the pan with oil or any odler liquid.

Place the ingredients into the basket, and then replace the basket back into the Air Fryer.

Select the correct function and temperature for dle Ingredients.
See section referring to ‘settings’ to determine the correct temperature. -
Press the Start Button to activate the Air Fryer.

Oil from the ingredients will gather in the bottom of the pan.

Some Ingredients require you to shake hallway dlrough the cooking per1od.
Pull the pan out of the Air Fryer by the handle and shake it, and Ulen slide the pan back into the fryer. Do not press the release button during shaking. -
When the set time has elapsed: To check your ingredients to see if they are ready, pull the pan out of the fryer and place it on a heat-resistant surface.

If the ingredients are not ready, simply slide the pan back into the fryer and adjust the time and temperature settings.

To remove the ingredients, remove the pan from the Air Fryer and place on a heat resistant surface. Press the basket release button and lift the basket out of the pan. Do not turn the pan over as oll collected on the base of dle pan will leak.

Empty your basket into a bowl or on to a plate. Remove larger pieces of food with tongs.
Temperature:
- Touch the Temperature Button on the Control Panel to set the temperature.
- Use the + and – Buttons on either side of the Temperature Button to adjust the temperature setting.
- Each press will alter the temperature by 5°C, or you can press and hold the button to rapidly change the temperature.
Time:
- Touch the Timer Button (clock) on the control panel to set the timer.
- Use the + and – Buttons on either side of the timer to adjust the time setting.
- Each press will add to or subtract from the time by a minute, or you can press and hold the button to rapidly change the time.
Settings:
- Use the Mode Button to cycle through a series of different cooking functions.
- To select a cooking function, press the Mode Button until it is highlighted on the screen. Press the Start Button to begin cooking.
- The pre-set function time and temperature settings can be changed by highlighting the required function and using the Temperature and Time Buttons to adjust.
- The pre-set functions are as follows: Chips, Chicken, Steak, Shrimp, Meat, Cake and Fish.

Note: The Air Fryer uses hot air heating technology. Never pour oil or
fat into the fryer.
Tips:
- Try soaking your raw cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes and then dry well before putting in the Air Fryer.
- Be careful not to overfill the Air Fryer basket with food.
- For a great even brown crisp, toss fries multiple times during cooking.
- Remove fries quickly once the cooking process is complete to ensure they stay crispy.
- Thinly slice and separate onions.
- Cut all vegetables into small pieces to make sure they cook properly.
- The Air fryer can also be used to reheat ingredients. To reheat, set the temperature to 150°C for up to 10 minutes.
SAFETY INFORMATION
- Check that the voltage of the main circuit corresponds with the reading of the appliance before operating.
- If the supply cord or appliance is damaged, stop using the appliance immediately and seek advice from the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person.
- WARNING: Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, serious bums may result from the Air Fryer being pulled off the counter where it may be grabbed by children or become entangled with the user.
- Do not carry the appliance by the power cord.
- Do not use any extension cord with this appliance.
- Do not pull the plug out by Hle cord as this may damage the plug and/or the cable. Switch off at the wall socket then remove Hle plug from the socket when not in use or before cleaning.
- Switch off and unplug before fitting or removing tools/ attachments, after use and before cleaning.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Children should not play with the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physlcal, sensory or mental capabllltles or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be undertaken by children without supervision.
- Take care when any appliance is used near pets.

- Please ensure that the appliance is used on a stable, level, and heat resistant surface. Do not immerse cords, plugs or any part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Do not place the Air Fryer on or near combustible materials such as a tablecloth or curtain.
- Do not place Hle Air Fryer against a wall or against other appliances. Leave at least 10 cm free space on the back and sides and 10cm free space above the appliance. Allow the Air Fryer cool down for approx. 30 minutes before you handle or clean it. Make sure the food prepared In the Air Fryer comes out golden yellow Instead of dark brown. Remove burnt remnants.

- Ensure that food is completely dry before adding any oil to it and/or putting it in the Air Fryer.
CLEANING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- The pan and basket are dishwasher safe.
- Remove plug from the mains socket and allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
- Note: removing the frying pan for the Air Fryer will help the Air Fryer to cool faster.
- Do not immerse the lid unit of the appliance in water and make sure no water enters the appliance.
- Clean the base unit by wiping It with a damp cloth. A little detergent can be added if the appliance is heavily soiled.
- Do not use scouring pads, steel wool or any form of strong solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance, as they may damage the outside surfaces of the appliance.
- Clean all accessories in warm soapy water, do not use any scouring pads, steel wool or any strong solvents or abrasive cleaning agents when cleaning accessories.
- For stubborn dirt or oil in the pan or basket, soak them in hot water with some detergent for 10 minutes.
- Make sure that the appliance is cleaned after every use.
Note:
- Allow drying fully after cleaning before using again.
- Do not use the appliance If damp.
- Ensure the appliance is completely clean and dry before storing.

This Eiger Aria 3.5L Digital Air Fryer comes with a standard 12-month limited
warranty against manufacturing defects and faults. Should your product be
unboxed with any faulty parts, poor finishing or visible damage, or fail to
perform due to a manufacturing defect or poor workmanship, please return it
with your proof of purchase (till slip or invoice) to the store of purchase
for an exchange, or repair, depending on the store’s returns policy.
This warranty commences from the date of purchase.
Kindly retain your proof of purchase as well as the packaging for your
warranty period.
NOTE:
The Warranty does not apply to a product that:
a. Has failed due to excessive wear and tear beyond what is considered to be
reasonable.
b. Has been misused or neglected.
c. Has been damaged accidentally or by Force Majeure including fire and
flooding.
d. Has been used or operated contrary to operating or maintenance instructions
outlined in this manual.
