OVERVIEW
INTRODUCTION
Founded in Switzerland in 1980, HUBLOT is defined by its innovative concept,
which began with the highly original combination of gold and rubber. This “Art
of Fusion” stems from the imagination of its visionary Chairman, Jean-Claude
Biver, and has been driven forward by CEO Ricardo Guadalupe since 2012.
The release of the iconic, multi-award-winning Big Bang in 2005 paved the way
for new flagship collections (Classic Fusion, Spirit of Big Bang), with
complications ranging from the simple or the highly sophisticated,
establishing the extraordinary DNA of the Swiss watchmaking manufacture and
ensuring its impressive growth.
You have chosen a Hublot Meca-10 clock, driven by a mechanical, hand-wound
skeleton movement with a 10-day power reserve. As it is a transitional object,
the Meca-10 movement and its mechanical architecture have been created for
all enthusiasts who have spent hours assembling and disassembling technical
constructions. The original construction of this aesthetically complex and
captivating clock can be seen from the dial side and case back.
WINDING
This function means your Hublot clock can accumulate the energy it requires to run properly. It is fitted with a hand-wound movement.
Use
Turn the winding crown (C) clockwise. Winding is complete when the power reserve indicator (E) reaches number 10.![HUBLOT Meca-10 Striking Mantle Clock

When using the clock for the first time or after it has been transported, it is possible that the power reserve indexing may have changed. The movement therefore needs to be fully wound, then left to fully run down to 0 so that the hand indexing is correct. Fully wind the movement again to ensure optimal operation. Take care not to force the crown when the power reserve is full, as this could damage the clock’s mechanism.
Hublot Meca-10 clocks have a power reserve of 10 days, or 240 hours, which is equivalent to around 34 turns of the crown when the power reserve is empty.
TIME-SETTING
This function enables you to set the time on your clock using the crown (C).
Use
Turn the crown (C) anti-clockwise until the desired hour is reached.
LIMITED INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY
Manufactured according to the purest Swiss watchmaking tradition in
collaboration with L’Epée (a specialist in high-end clocks), your Hublot clock
has been individually tested to ensure it works perfectly. A limited
international warranty covers your clock against any manufacturing fault, for
two years from the date of purchase, and for one year following a repair,
under the conditions below.
What is covered?
Under this limited warranty, Hublot commits to repair, free of charge, any
incorrect operation of your clock resulting from a manufacturing defect. This
warranty is only honored in Hublot Service Centres, the contact details of
which can be found on the Hublot website
www.hublot.com. Certain restrictive conditions must
be met and we recommend you read them below.
What are the restrictive conditions in the warranty?
To benefit from this limited warranty, the following conditions must be
fulfilled:
– the international warranty card must have been activated by the retailer who
sold the clock, or must have been signed and dated by a Hublot-approved
stockist at the time of purchase; Hublot will not honor the warranty for
clocks sold without a valid warranty card, duly signed and completed by a
Hublot-approved retailer or Hublot single-brand boutique;
– the serial number engraved on the case is perfectly legible and no part of
the original case back or original number has been removed, modified,
falsified, altered, replaced, erased, distorted, or rendered illegible.
Failure to respect these conditions renders all rights arising from Hublot’s
international warranty system invalid.
What is not covered?
Faults resulting from interventions carried out by anyone other than a Hublot
Service Centre are not covered by this warranty and render it null and void.
The limited warranty does not cover glass, or scratches, dents or
deteriorations on the case and movement following incorrect handling and does
not apply, generally speaking, if the clock has been used incorrectly or
improperly.
Terms and conditions and restrictions:
This warranty automatically invalidates and replaces all other warranties
provided for under national legislation, including the implied warranty of
merchantability. Some local legislation may not authorize the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damage, in this case, the limitation
or exclusion of the above-mentioned warranty does not apply. This warranty
gives you specific rights and you may have further rights under local
legislation, which varies depending on the country. Only Hublot and its
Official Service Centres are able to make a decision on repairs or any other
appropriate action regarding any Hublot clock covered by this international
warranty. We recommend you send your Hublot clock via registered mail,
carefully packaged to prevent any damage, to the Hublot Service Centre closest
to you or take it to your Hublot-approved retailer or your Hublot single-brand
boutique. The list of Hublot Service Centres can be found on our website,
www.hublot.com. Upon request, they will provide you
with the contact details for your nearest Hublot-approved retailer or Hublot
single-brand boutique.
This warranty does not affect your legal rights as a consumer. Make sure that
you have an international warranty card, as it is vital in order for you to
benefit from the services in the Hublot international warranty listed above.
You will find a number of recommendations for using and maintaining your
Hublot clock on our website. Make sure you follow these recommendations
carefully, as the warranty shall be rendered null and void in the event of
inappropriate treatment or use.
Recommendations and maintenance
Hublot clocks are produced and checked according to extremely strict
criteria. To preserve this quality, we recommend a full service every three to
five years. Changes in temperature or humidity can affect the rate of a clock
over the years. Clean your clock with a soft cloth only. In order to ensure it
works optimally, it is vital that the clock is kept vertical, and any type of
impact is avoided.
