HUBLOT Meca-10 Striking Mantle Clock - OVERVIEW

INTRODUCTION

Founded in Switzerland in 1980, HUBLOT is defined by its innovative concept, which began with the highly original combination of gold and rubber. This “Art of Fusion”  stems from the imagination of its visionary Chairman, Jean-Claude Biver, and has been driven forward by CEO Ricardo Guadalupe since 2012.
The release of the iconic, multi-award-winning Big Bang in 2005 paved the way for new flagship collections (Classic Fusion, Spirit of Big Bang), with complications ranging from the simple or the highly sophisticated, establishing the extraordinary DNA of the Swiss watchmaking manufacture and ensuring its impressive growth.
You have chosen a Hublot Meca-10 clock, driven by a mechanical, hand-wound skeleton movement with a 10-day power reserve. As it is a transitional object, the Meca-10  movement and its mechanical architecture have been created for all enthusiasts who have spent hours assembling and disassembling technical constructions. The original construction of this aesthetically complex and captivating clock can be seen from the dial side and case back.

WINDING

This function means your Hublot clock can accumulate the energy it requires to run properly. It is fitted with a hand-wound movement.

Use

Turn the winding crown (C) clockwise. Winding is complete when the power reserve indicator (E) reaches number 10.![HUBLOT Meca-10 Striking Mantle Clock

  • WINDING 2](https://manuals.plus/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/HUBLOT-Meca-10 -Striking-Mantle-Clock-WINDING-2-300x219.png) Power reserve
When using the clock for the first time or after it has been transported, it is possible that the power reserve indexing may have changed. The movement therefore needs to be fully wound, then left to fully run down to 0 so that the hand indexing is correct. Fully wind the movement again to ensure optimal operation. Take care not to force the crown when the power reserve is full, as this could damage the clock’s mechanism.
Hublot Meca-10 clocks have a power reserve of 10 days, or 240 hours, which is equivalent to around 34 turns of the crown when the power reserve is empty.

TIME-SETTING

This function enables you to set the time on your clock using the crown (C).
Use
Turn the crown (C) anti-clockwise until the desired hour is reached.HUBLOT

Recommendations and maintenance
Hublot clocks are produced and checked according to extremely strict criteria. To preserve this quality, we recommend a full service every three to five years. Changes in temperature or humidity can affect the rate of a clock over the years. Clean your clock with a soft cloth only. In order to ensure it works optimally, it is vital that the clock is kept vertical, and any type of impact is avoided.
