Safety Instructions

Read and follow all the safety instructions:

• The bulb is not waterproof. Avoid exposing it to splashing or dripping water.
• The operating temperature should be within -10° to 40°C(14° to 104°F).
• The bulb’s internal light source is unfixable. If it breaks, you must replace the entire bulb.
• Do not allow children to install the bulb alone.
• Do not install the bulb with a dimming driver. Bulb dims via Bluetooth control and will not operate with a dimmer switch.
• Do not install the bulb is totally enclosed luminaires.
• Avoid installing the bulb near heat sources or in damp locations.
• Avoid installing the bulb near potentially dangerous sources (e.g., candles, liquid-filled objects).

Installing Your Bulb

Screw the bulb into the base.
Notice: Switch off the power switch controlling the bulb before installing.

Downloading the Govee Home App

• Download the Govee Home app from APP Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
• A smartphone or tablet running iOS 8.0 (or above) or Android 4.3 (or above).

Connecting the Bulb to Govee Home

Notice: Please make sure the bulb is powered on and Bluetooth in your phone is turned on.

1. Open Gove Home, tap “+” the icon at the top right corner, and select H6001;
2. Connect to “H6001_XXXX”
3. Name the bulb;
4. Start to control the bulb with Govee Home.

Troubleshooting

1. Cannot connect the bulb to Govee Home.
   a. Make sure the bulb is powered on.
   b. Check whether Bluetooth is turned on on your phone. And you can change the phone and connect to check if the Bluetooth is functional.
   c. Keep the phone closer to the device.
   d. If the connection still fails, please tap the setting icon at the top right corner of the device page to delete it and then reconnect.

2. The bulb lost connection.
   a. Check whether the bulb is powered on.
   b. Make sure the distance between phone and bulb is less than 98.4ft / 30m.
   c. If connection still fails, please tap the setting icon at the top right corner of the device page to delete it and then reconnect.

3. Cannot turn on Mic Mode.
   Please allow the app to access the mic of your phone when first turning on Music Mode.
   Tips: Gove Home does not use, collect or share your ambient sound in any way.

4. Does the bulb work with Alexa/Google Assistant?
   No, the Bluetooth-enabled bulb doesn’t support voice control.

5. The bulb did not remember the last setting.
   Please return to the “My Devices” page and stay for 5 seconds before turning off the power.
