- Computer systems , flulights , electric motors , motor vehicles , etc. can cause interference and should be avoided .
- While listening to AM station which depends on the hidden magnetic rod antenna, so you can adjust the unit location for the best reception. Also, the angle of the telescopic antenna can be elongated and turned in the direction for better FM reception.
- Do not let the backup battery that is about to run out be placed in the machine for too long, to avoid leakage causing damage to the parts.
- Avoid extensive moisture temperature environment above 40 ℃ or below 0 ℃.
- Place the unit on a flat and stable surface with good ventilation to avoid damage to the unit.

Power source
Use a suitable AC‐to‐DC adapter for input voltage 5V < 2A
Radio
Radio on/off
Press Radio key to turn on, then switch between AM/FM by Band key, pull out the lever antenna when you want to listen to the FM station. The display shows the band frequency for 15s, if you do not operate any key, it will return to the time display. Press Radio key again to check on the current radio frequency playing press and hold the Radio key for about 2 seconds to exit radio mode.
Turn off the station by timer
While listening to the radio, the display cycles through OFF/”30″/ “60”/ “90”/ “120” for each press of the Snooze key to set playback duration before radio turn of automatically. Select the duration you want until the display stops flashing and the setting is done. To cancel the setting by cycling the Snooze key to OFF, the radio will keep playing continuously.
Three ways to select radio frequencies Automatic scanning of the station
Press the Scan key move to the next available station, the display will shows the current radio frequency. Stay with it or press again for next station. The display will back to time display if no operation is done in 15 s.
Manual search
Press either “+” or “‐“once, the station frequency will go up/down in single step. Or, long press the “+” or “‐“ key for 2s, it will search for next available station. Stay with the station and display will back to time display or repeat for anther station.
Selecting your favorite station memory
When you’re listening to your favorite radio station, press and hold the memory “1 ‐ 5” button about 2S, the display frequency flashes, the radio station will be store at the key position. Repeating the same, the new station replaces the original station memory. To invoke a memory station, you can listen to it by clicking the corresponding key on the memory station “1 ‐ 5”.
Voice messages
This machine can playback voice messages sent by the SmartCukoo APP. (See the APP page diagram for details of the operation).
Voice message playback (unread)
If the Message indicator light flashes, press the button to play the latest message. During playback, the display showing the message date. If multiple messages exist, it will playback each automatically. The unit will go back to normal status in 3s after all messages was read.
Listened to voice playback
If you want to replay a voice message you’ve listened, press the key to play the last voice message you received. The message will playback once and go back to previous status in 3s. Press and backward for the voice message stored in the machine.
Delete the message
Click to display the most recent voice date on the display, hold down Select key, the display date will flash, the message will be deleted after holding the key about 2S. Other’s message can be deleted by repeating the process. Press or to select just the voice messages you want to delete and taking the above procedure . You can also use the APP to delete message individually or in bulk. (See app page diagram for more information about the operation).
White Noise playback
This machine stores 5 white noise selection (1 ‐ 5) by default.
White Noise / Music Play
Press the Music button and select white noise mode while the display icon lights up. Press the pre‐set “1 ‐ 5″ key to select tracks, or press “”+/‐” key to Loop through different tracks, the display shows the track number and the current time display will show up after 15S.
You can play more tracks, or you can replace the pre‐set favorite tracks inside the SmartCukoo APP (see app page diagram for more details). Press and hold the Music button 2S to exit music playback mode and the display icon disappears.
Clock / Date / Alarm
Clock/date settings
- When the unit is on, press Menu/Setting, the display will flash and enter clock/date
- The display shows 12H or 24H, it will switch between 12/24 by press scan key
- Press menu/Setting, the “hour” digit will flash, select the correct hour by pressing “+” or “‐ “, click Select key to Save.

- the “year” digit will flash, select the correct year by pressing “+” or “‐ “, click Select key to
- the “month” digit will flash, select the correct month by pressing “+” or “‐ “, click Select key to

- The display flashes and show current time setting, press the Menu/Setting key to complete the time date
Automatic clock/date setting
Start SmartCukoo APP, connect to the unit, and the clock will set synchronize as your mobile time.
Alarm setting
- Press Alarm1 or Alarm2, setting/ icon will flash, pressing the Menu/Setting, entering the alarm
- The “hour”, select the correct hour by pressing “+” or “‐ “, click Select key to
- The “minute”, select the correct minute by pressing “+” or “‐ “, click Select key to Save
- Go to source selection, press “”+/”‐” to select the desired ringtone; press Scan key switch to AM/FM band, press the “””+/”‐”” key to select the radio frequency, or select “1 ‐ 5” pre‐set station . Click Select
- The display back to the current time, press menu/Setting to complete the You will see theor icon on the display
- You can set up more alarm inside the SmartCukoo
SNOOZE feature
When the alarm started, press the SNOOZE key to silent the alarm temporally. It will ring again in 5 minutes by default until you actually stop the current alarm as above mentioned. (you can choose different setting inside the app).
Sleep settings
The Sleep function can allow you to define when the Radio or White noise playback time.
In the Radio or White noise playback mode, single press the SNOOZE key to cycle from “OFF”/ “30”/” 60″/”90″/”120″, stop pressing the SNOOZE key until you see your desire setting. The display will go back to current time in 15s and setting is done. Repeat the above process until you see “off” to cancel the timer.
Voice reminder
Schedule settings
Scheduled reminders can be set inside the app and playback from the unit.
(see app page diagram for details).
Stop and cancel reminder settings
- Press either Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 to stop the reminder playback when it is
- Set/Cancel/Revise the reminder schedule inside the SmartCukoo app (see app page diagram for details).
SNOOZE feature
When the reminder started, press the SNOOZE key to silent the reminder temporally. It will start again in 5 minutes by default until you actually stop the current alarm as above mentioned. (you can choose different setting inside the app).
Auto dimmer
The display intensity will automatically adjust against the environment by default, and more settings can be done inside the app.
**Smart Cukoo APP***
Your Smart phone operating system must meet the following minimum requirements: IOS: iPhone 5s and above / Android: Android 6.0 and above
