Overview

The Wireless Motion Detection System uses a Passive Infra-Red (PIR) Motion Sensor to detect movement of people and vehicles. The Base Station is powered by the Dc adapter and the 4 AA batteries supply power in case of a power outage.
NOTE : The Base Station is intended for indoor use only.

Operation

  1. Press on/off button , Test Motion Sensor by waving hand in front of sensor, indicator light should flash 3 number of times and the receiver module will buzz 3 number of times indicating which sensor has been activated.

  2. How to match:
    For example: receiver module match with the “3” sensor a. Install batteries into receiver and the “3” sensor, press on/off button, then press code key button long time until indicator light “9” became flash, next press “volume+” or “volume –” until indicator light “3” flash.
    b. Press code key button again, the indicator light “3” will be constant on.
    c. Wait seconds, until the indicator light “0”flash 2 number of times, it means have successful matched.
    d. Take out the batteries from receiver, then install battery, all is OK.

  3. How to cancel matching.
    For example: cancel receiver module match with the “3” sensor
    a. Press code key button long time until indicator light “9” became flash, next press “volume+” or “volume –” until indicator light “3” flash.
    b. Press code key button again, the indicator light “3” will be constant on.
    c. Take out the batteries from receiver, canceling is finish.

Installing

  1. Mount Motion Sensor horizontally on solid surface 6-7 feet off the ground and within 1/2 mile (0.8KM) of Base Station. Attach sun/rain shield.
    Note: The passive infrared Motion Sensor detects heat. Avoid aiming it towards areas that produce heat such as heater vents, windows where the sun hits, or outdoor spotlights.
    Keep Motion Sensor antenna away from metal objects. Do not mount Motion Sensor in direct sunlight, near moving tree branches, or in the path of a sprinkler system.

  2. As far as possible to reduce obstruction and interference with other wireless signals between base station and motion sensor.
