Status Indicator:

Pairing instructions:

  1. Turn on the shutter by moving the on/off switch to the on position. The Status Indicator light will blink rapidly to indicate it is ready to pair.
  2. Activate Bluetooth functionality on your smartphone.
  3. Select “BY-MC-204” from the list of available devices. You will not need to pair the next time you turn on the remote shutter.

Shooting instructions:

  1. Open a camera application.
  2. Depress the button corresponding to your device to take a picture.
  3. Turn off the Remote Shutter when not in use to preserve the battery.

Setting up the Tripod:

  1. Loosen the leg bolt by turning the screw counter clock-wise until! tension is relieved.
  2. Pull each leg outward push up on the leg support guide until The leg support guide is off The ground when the tripod is set down. If you are operating the tripod outside, set it higher to clear obstacles.
  3. Lock the legs by screwing the leg bolt clock-wise until the tension prevents leg movement.
  4. Place your smartphone horizontal onto the phone clamp against the soft non-slip surface, while pulling up on the pull tab. The spring-loaded pull Tab will hold your smartphone securely in place.
  5. Loosen The bolt and adjust The angle ball joint to The desired angle. A vertical position can be achieved by rotating the screw plate into the groove opposite the ball joint secure bolt.
  6. Adjust to the desired height using the height bolts. Be sure to tightly screw all the bolts adjusted to prevent undesired movement.
  7. A camera can be mounted on The screw plate by unscrewing and removing the phone clamp.

Caution:

In order to protect your smariphone, please keep the tripod on a smooth (if used inside) surface, and prevent external forces from tipping the tripod, which will be top heavy with your device attached.

Do not press down on the tripod while the bolts are locked, as this could break or deform the legs.

Battery Warnings:

  • The batteries used with this product are small parts and should be kept away from small children who put things in their mouths. If a battery is swallowed, promptly see a doctor and have the doctor call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222
  • Only replace the battery with another CR2032 battery.
  • Clean the battery contacts with a dry cloth prior to battery replacement.
  • Ensure when replacing the battery that it is installed with the correct polarity upwards.
  • To prevent damage to the device, remove the battery when the device is being stored or the battery is spent.
