Installing Your Strip Light

Preparation Before Installing
a. Unpack the box and check whether all items are intact;
b. Power on the strip light to check whether it works well;
c. Connect the DC wires to the power brick;
d. Fix the DC wires on the engine compartment near the battery;
(Notice: Do not fix on the part that easily gets hot.)
e. Connect positive DC wire (red) and negative DC wire (black) to correct poles of the engine. -
Installing Steps:
a. Wipe off the installing surface. Make sure it’s clean, dry and smooth;
b. Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape and stick the strip light;
(Notice: Do not move the strip light to other places once attaching.)
c. Remove air bubbles between the strip and surface by pressing the strip from end to end, and fix the fastener by screws to the strip;
d. Power on the strip and start to use. -
Using the Strip Light with RF Remote

Downloading the Govee Home App
Download the Govee Home app from App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
Notice: You need a smartphone running iOS 9.3 (or above) or Android 4.4 (or above).
Connecting the Strip Light to the App
- Turn on Bluetooth in your mobile phone;
- Open Govee Home app and tap “+” icon in the top right corner;
- Select “H6184” in the device list;
