Quick Start Guide
Welcome to Linxup!
This simple step-by-step guide will walk you through activating your account
and installing your GPS tracker. You’ll also find easy instructions to
customize your Customer Portal for tracking vehicles and equipment, monitoring
reports, setting alerts, and much more. Let’s get started!
Account Activation
- Open your web browser (Chrome is recommended) and go to: https://activate.linxup.com
- You will be directed to the Activation Page where you will finish your account registration. Fill out the following information:
- Activation Code: You can enter either the Activation Code found on your device OR your Billing Account Number (BAN) provided in your confirmation email.
- Email Address: Please use the email address you provided when completing the order.
- Create/Confirm Your Password: Make it strong and secure! · Read through our Terms & Conditions and then click the radio box to agree before clicking “Next”.
Device Activation
1 . Welcome to your portal!

If you entered in your activation code on the previous screen it will auto-populate here.

If you entered your Billing Account Number (BAN), you will need to enter the activation code shown on your device here.
2. Name your tracker based on the naming convention you use to manage your vehicles.
- Some common ways to name your vehicle: Blue Truck, Van ##, Sophie’s Car, Ford F150, Tractor ###, etc.
3 . Enter in any optional information you would like to add to your tracker.
- Tip! If you are adding trackers into multiple groups, complete Group Setup before activating the remainder of your devices.
4 .Congratulations! You have now set up your first device and your portal has
been activated for use. From here, you can either choose to Activate More
Trackers or Complete the process and begin using your system.
Using Your Mini Tracker
- Your Mini Tracker will arrive powered off. We recommend charging your Mini Tracker with the included charger for up to six hours before initial use.
- Once charged, hold the power button until the PWR LED light is solid red.
- Leave the tracker powered on while monitoring locations.
- LED descriptions:
GPS | Solid | GPS has a fixed position. Once fixed, this light will go dark. |

Fast flash | Searching for GPS position. | |
Slow flash | GPS is on but the data is wrong. | |
PWR | Dark | Power is on and normal. |
Fast flash | Charging in process. | |
Fast flash | Power key pressed to power off. | |
Slow flash | Low battery alert (less than 15% power). | |
CEL | Fast flash | Searching network. |
Dark | Power off. | |
Slow flash | The device has a cellular signal. |
*Green highlight indicates the normal operation is in progress.
- In the portal, go to Alerts > Notification Setup to set alerts for geofences, no GPS signal, unauthorized use, and low battery.
- To power off your device when not tracking, hold the power button until the PWR LED light blinks.
Helpful Tips
- Your device may have difficulty locating a GPS signal inside buildings. The GPS and CEL LED lights will flash. To preserve the battery, turn off your device until you are ready to resume tracking.
- The long-lasting rechargeable battery can track for up to 8 days with two hours of motion per day, and averages up to 14 days with normal use.
