Thank you for buying your own lamp!
This manual includes instructions and help to get you Up and running as soon
as possible.
Set-up instructions
Turn it on!
Use the included USB cable to connect the lamp to a USB charger or laptop, and
the indicator light will turn blue at this time. Then after a few seconds, it
turns to purple and rotates green in turn, then the light will go out. At this
time you can use your friend’s lamp. First, you need to enter the Wi-Fi
configuration mode. You can enter the WiFi configuration mode by touching the
button for about 30 seconds. You will notice that the light has cycled through
all the colors several times, but will eventually remain dark red. At this
point, you can connect to your friend’s lamp to set up Wi-Fi, and set up your
own group ID.
Find the Friend Lamp Wi-Fi
When the lamp is red, connect to the new Wi-Fi network named
“Friend Lamp ****”.
Press Configure Wi-Fi
Once connected to the Wi-Fi, there will be a popup asking you to sign in to
the Wi-Fi, Press the popup and it will take you to the sign-in page.
If there is no popup, please open a web browser on the connected device and
enter the following into the address field “ 192.168.4.1 ”, this will take you
to the same page.
Connect the lamp to your home Wi-Fi
Press your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password
Explanation
Contact other lamps|
With a single touch, you can contact all the other lamps on your Group ID

Change color| You have many colors to choose from with our lamp. When you hold
your finger on the touch button, the color options will start to cycle
through. Just hold down until you see the color you want and then let go. The
lamp will stay on for another five seconds and then turn off. Tap again to
send the color
Turn lamp off| If for any reason you would like to stop the lamp shining, you
can simply hold down the button for two seconds, release and the lamp will
turn off. Please note that if your friend touches their friend’s lamp your
lamp will turn on again, so you don’t have to worry about missing a message.
Change
Wi-Fi settings|
Although you will most likely not need to do this, you can enter the Wi-Fi configuration mode by touching the button for about 30 seconds. You will notice the lamp cycles through all the colors several times, but eventually, it will stay dim red. At this point, you can connect to the Friend lamp Wi-Fi and change the Wi-Fi settings of the Group ID. This may be useful if you want to make sure that the lamps are on the same network if they are not working properly.
Color Codes
The lamp lets you know what it is doing by showing you any of the following
colors:
Dim blue – I am turning on and connecting
Dim red – I am unable to connect to Wi-Fi and l would like to be set up
Dim purple – I am downloading and installing an update, just wait until l am
swirling green and ready to go!
Swirling green -I am connected and ready to go!
Note:
- This friend lamp can only connect to 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi.
- If you use a laptop to charge, the laptop cannot enter the dormant state, otherwise, it will affect the network signal of the lamp.
