2. Using the left hand arrow (west) you can scroll between Actual reading, Minimum reading, Maximum reading, Average reading and hold to take photos (on the hold button to change to take a new photo press the tick button.

10. Press the down arrow (south) twice to the MAT is flashing then press the tick button the code H01 will appear
11. Press the up arrow (north) once the 1 will appear instead of the zero then press the right arrow (east) then the up arrow (north) it will appear code 12 then hold the tick button
12. It is now on Douglass fir timber check in the download section for the specific gravity chart the bold reading in the chart is the Douglass fir reading and scroll down for what it really reads depending on the timber.
13. To preset the temperature for the timber to be accurate get a surface temp of the timber then put that into your meter every time you want to check timber accurately
14. Touch the keypad to light up the screen
15. Hold the menu button down till the menu appears this left arrow button (west)
16. Press the down arrow (south) 3 times till the temp is flashing then press the tick button press the across east, north, south, west buttons to preset the surface temperature then hold down the tick button when you are happy.
