Preparation

  • A smartphone or tablet device running iOS 9.0+ or Android 5.0+
  •  Make sure there is an accessible 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network

Step 1 Download the SwitchBot app on App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 2 Create a SwitchBot account and sign in to the app.
Step 3 Place Indoor Cam close to the router. Connect the USB cable to the back of the Indoor Cam and to a 5V 1A USB adaptor. Then plug it into a power outlet.
Step 4 On the app, tap the “+” icon on the top right of the Home page. Tap the “Indoor Cam” icon and follow the instructions to complete the setup.

Light Indication

LED Status Description
Solid green Online
Flashing green Connecting to Wi-Fi/Pairing
Solid red Booting up
Blinking red slow Updating firmware
Flashing red Ready for setup

Installation

Choose a spot
Choose a spot where it can provide the desired view of your home, within reach a  power outlet.

Place Indoor Cam on a table or shelf
Place Indoor Cam directly on a table or shelf with or without the Base.

Stick Indoor Cam to a flat surface
Mount the Base to the back or the bottom of the Indoor Cam. Then stick it to a flat surface using the 3M sticker.

Stick Indoor Cam to an iron surface
Mount the Base to the back or the bottom of the Indoor Cam and attach it to an iron surface or a magnet.

Mount Indoor Cam to a wall
Mount the Base to the back or the bottom of the Indoor Cam. Then remove the bottom cover of the Base and use the provided screws to mount Indoor Cam to a wall. Refer to , our support page for detailed steps.

How to Reset

Press the Reset Button on the back of the Indoor Cam for 3 seconds or until a ring tone is, heard.

Return and Refund Policy

SwitchBot Indoor Cam has one year warranty (starting from the purchasing day). The m situation below do not fit the Return and Refund Policy

  •  Intended damage or abuse.
  • Inappropriate storage (drop-down or soaking in water).
  • User modifies or repairs.
  • Using loss.
  •  Force majeure damage (natural disasters).
