ACEMIC TX1 Wireless Transmitter

Introduction

This product uses the international general 2.4G wireless frequency band, which is a technology allowed by law in various countries/regions.

Before using this product, please check whether the packaging is complete and whether the appearance of the product is great. Please check the remaining battery power of the device before use (please refer to the “Power Inquiry” chapter). And before you formally use the microphone for work, be sure to test and debug the microphone and adapter to avoid affecting your normal work.

Transmitter Introduction

Transmitter Main Features

  1. Built-in Microphone: Adopts 6mm omnidirectional capsule, the receiving sound distance can reach 20cm.
  2. Indicator 1-Pairing Indicator: Through this light, you can know the current matching status.
  3. Indicator 2-Low Voltage/Charging Indicator: Through this light, you can know the current charging status and remaining power.
  4. Indicator 3-Battery Full Charge Indicator: Through this light, you can know the current charging progress and remaining power.
  5. Power Button: Turn off/on the transmitter.
  6. Back Clip: A clip with a hidden cold shoe, strong and durable.
  7. External Microphone Jack: This jack can connect to a TRS external microphone.
  8. Channel Switch Button: The product has 20 channels, and the channel can be switched by pressing the +/- button.
  9. MINI USB Charging Port: Using micro USB charging port.

Transmitter Operating Instruction

  1. Turn On
    Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the indicator 1 lights up in blue.

  2. Turn Off
    Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the indicator 1 goes out.

  3. Channel Switching
    When the transmitter is in working mode, tap the channel switch +/- button. When the indicator 1 from flashing to steady on, the transmitter has completed the channel switching. After the transmitter switches channels, it will automatically match with the receiver and re-establish the connection.
    Note: The channel switching operation should be performed within the effective communication distance.

  4. Wear Method
    When using the built-in microphone of the transmitter, you can clip the transmitter on your lapel/collar or hold it in your hand. When using the lavalier microphone, you can clip the transmitter around your pocket or other comfortable places.

Receiver Introduction

  1. TRS 3.5mm Line Out Port: Through this TRS port and the equipped mobile phone/camera adapter cable, you can connect the receiver to your device.
  2. Indicator 1-Pairing Indicator: Through this light, you can know the current matching status.
  3. Indicator 2-Low Voltage/Charging Indicator: Through this light, you can know the current charging status and remaining power.
  4. Indicator 3-Battery Full Charge Indicator: Through this light, you can know the current charging progress and the remaining power.
  5. Power/Mute Button: Turn off/on the receiver. It can also be used to turn on/off the mute mode.
  6. Back Clip: A clip with a hidden cold shoe, strong and durable.
  7. 3.5mm TRRS Earphone Monitor Port: Insert your 3.5mm earphone to monitor the real-time audio from the transmitter build-in microphone and lavalier microphone.

Receiver Operating Instruction

  1. Turn On
    Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the indicator 1 lights up in blue.
    When Pairing
    When the receiver has not established a connection with the transmitter or cannot establish a connection with the transmitter, the indicator 1 flashes blue quickly. When the receiver is connected to the transmitter normally, the indicator 1 is stable blue.

  2. Turn Off
    Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the indicator 1 goes out.

  3. Mute
    When the wireless system is in the working mode, tap the power/mute button on the receiver once to turn on and off the mute mode. In the mute mode, the indicator 1 flashes slowly in blue. Turn off the mute mode, the indicator 1 will return to stable blue.

  4. Channel Switching
    The channel switching of the receiver can only be done through the transmitter. Please refer to the channel switching operation section of the transmitter. When the transmitter performs the channel switching operation, the receiver will automatically re-match the transmitter. When the connection with the transmitter is successfully established again, the indicator 1 will flash blue twice and then stay on.
    Note: The channel switching operation should be performed within the effective communication distance.

  5. Volume Adjuster
    The preset 5 levels of volume can be adjusted. The volume can be increased or decreased through the volume +/-buttons. The volume is in the third level by default each time the device is turned on.

  6. Installation
    The receiver can be installed on your camera or phone gimbals by the clip and cold shoe of back clip.

Power Source

The transmitter and receiver are powered by lithium batteries, which can be recharged and reused. Each device can be individually checked for power. The following methods are applicable to both transmitter and receiver.

Power Inquiry

When the device is off, click the power button to check the remaining battery power. It will give a reminder in the indicator 2.

The remaining battery power is divided into 5 levels, as follows:

  • Level 4: Indicator 2 flashes red 4 times, it means fully charged.
  • Level 3: Indicator 2 flashes red 3 times.
  • Level 2: Indicator 2 flashes red twice.
  • Level 1: Indicator 2 flashes red once.
  • Level 0: Indicator 2 will not light up, means the battery is out of power. Please charge it in time.

How to Charge

When the device is on, the indicator 2 flashes slowly in red, means the battery is running out. Please charge it in time.
Please use the packaged dual charging cable and your own USB charging head for charging, such as a common mobile phone charging head.

Please note that some high-power fast-charging heads may not be compatible. It is recommended that you choose ordinary charging heads. If you use a laptop or a power bank to charge, it will take longer to fully charge.

The indicator 2 will be steady red when charging. After the battery is fully charged, the indicator 2 will be off, and at the same time, the indicator 3 will be steady green.

Please turn off the power of the device when charging. This device cannot be used while charging.

Using Steps On Cameras

  1. Please check the remaining battery power of the device before use (please refer to the “Power Inquiry” chapter). If the battery is too low, please charge the device first.

  2. Long press the power button on the transmitter and receiver until the indicator 1 keeps blue light, which means you can start to use them.

  3. Clip the transmitter to your collar or lapel. If you want to use the lavalier microphone, please connect the external mic to the 3.5mm jack on the transmitter, and clip the lavalier mic to your collar or lapel. Then clip the transmitter to the edge of your belt/pocket.

  4. Insert one end of the camera adapter cable into the LINE OUT port on the top of the receiver, and insert the other end into the MIC jack of your camera. The two ends of the camera adapter cable are the same, so there is no need to distinguish them.

  5. Fix the receiver to the camera hot shoe through the hidden cold shoe on the back clip of the receiver.

  6. Insert your earphone into the earphone jack on the receiver to monitor the real-time audio from the transmitter. This step is optional.

  7. Test whether the microphone is working and adjust the volume to an appropriate level. Record a short audio/video to observe the microphone working status.

  8. After the work is completed, please long press the power button on the transmitter and receiver until the indicator 1 goes out to turn off the device.

Using Steps On Smartphones

  1. Please check the remaining battery power of the device before use (please refer to the “Power Inquiry” chapter). If the battery is too low, please charge the device first.

  2. Long press the power button on the transmitter and receiver until the indicator 1 keeps blue light, which means you can start to use them.

  4. Insert the TRS end of the smartphone adapter cable into the LINE OUT port on the top of the receiver, and insert the TRRS end into the 3.5mm MIC jack of your smartphone . The two ends of the smartphone adapter cable are different, please pay attention to distinguish.

  5. Fix the receiver to your smartphone holder through the hidden cold shoe on the back clip of the receiver. If you don’t use the phone holder, you can also directly clip the receiver to your phone. Please avoid pressing the buttons of the phone when fixing the clip/phone holder.

  6. Insert your earphone into the earphone jack on the receiver to monitor the real-time audio from the transmitter. This step is optional.

  7. Choose a suitable APP for your mobile phone to record audio/video, or live broadcast.

  8. Test whether the microphone is working and adjust the volume to an appropriate level. Record a short audio/video, and unplug the adapter cable on the phone to listen to the recording.

  9. After the work is completed, please long press the power button on the transmitter and receiver until the indicator 1 goes out to turn off the device.

Notice

What should I do if my smartphone does not have a 3.5mm microphone jack?
Please select the appropriate adapter for your device.

  1. If your smartphone has only the Type-C interface, please purchase a extra Type-C to 3.5mm adapter cable. Then insert the adapter to your smartphone, insert the packaged smartphone cable to this Type-C to 3.5mm adapter.

  2. If your Apple smartphone has only the lighting interface, please purchase a extra lighting to 3.5mm adapter cable. Then insert the adapter to your Apple smartphone, insert the packaged smartphone cable to this lighting to 3.5mm adapter.

  3. If your smartphone app can’t support external microphone (This usually happens on Android phones), you can download the Open Camera app from play market. This app support external microphone by using the packaged smartphone adapter cable. Setting Steps: Open the Open Camera app — click Settings on the upper right corner — Video Settings — Audio Source — External Mic (If Present) For iPhone –Just use the camera that built-in the phone, it can support external microphone.

Q&A

  1. Can I use this product while charging?
    No. Please turn off the power when charging.

  2. Are the two ends of the camera adapter cable the same?
    Yes, you do not need to distinguish.

  3. Are the two ends of the mobile phone adapter the same?
    No. One end of the phone adapter is a TRS 3-pin jack, which is used to connect to the receiver. The other end is the TRRS 4-pin, which is used to connect to your phone.

  4. Can I use a Bluetooth earphone to connect to the receiver for monitoring?
    No. This device does not support Bluetooth connection, please use a 3.5mm wired headphone.

  5. How to quickly distinguish the transmitter and receiver?
    Observe the top of the device, the one with the pickup hole is the transmitter, and the one with the LINE OUT hole is the receiver. Observe the side of the device, the receiver has a headset icon.

  6. I use the monitor headset to hear the sound of the mic working, why is my phone not recording any sound?
    The audio heard by the monitor headset is the audio from the transmitter/microphone, not the actual content recorded by the device. You need to listen to the actual recorded audio to ensure that the microphone is compatible with your device. When the recording finish, you need to unplug all the adapter cable from phone to use the phone’s speaker to listen to the recording.

  7. Why I use the lightning adapter cable, but still can’t make the microphone work normally with my Apple phone?
    Please make sure to use the original lightning adapter or purchased from the Apple. Some unofficial adapter cables on the market do not support external mics.
