Getting Started

IMPORTANT: Before operating this unit, please read these instructions and the user manual carefully and pay extra attention to the safety warnings and precautions. Please use this unit as instructed. Failure to do so may cause damage and/or personal injury and will void the product warranty

NOTE: The images and illustrations depicted in this quick guide may differ slightly from the actual ones. The user interfaces for iOS & Android devices might be slightly different. The screenshots in this quick guide are captured from the iOS device app

Download & install app
Scan the QR code or search for Autel Link  in App Store or Google Play to download and install the app to your device.

Register & log in

  • Open the Auta Link app and tap Register on the screen
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration.
  • Log in with your registered email address/phone number and password

Add the dongle

  • On the Main Job, tap Me> Device Manager>Binding Equipment, the device will automatically jump to the next screen.
  • Tap to scan the QR code imprinted on the Bluetooth dongle or add the dongle by mode.

Bind VCI with device
After the scanning Is complete and the serial number automatically retrieved, tap the Bind Equipment button at the bottom of the Interface to pair dongle with device.

Find 08011 Port
Plug the connector, of the Bluetooth dongle into the vehicle’s 08011 port.

• The vehicles OBDI port is generally located under the vehicle dashboard (Consult vehicle user manual for specific location.

Key On, Engine Off
Tum the vehicle ignition to Key On, Engine Off position.
The LED on the dongle will light solid green when connected

Your MaxiAP AP2500 dongle is now ready for use

UPDATE
Software: When a new version is available, an Update button will display. Tap the button to update the software.
VCI Firmware: Tap Me > Device Manager > AP2500 > Firmware Upgrade to update the firmware ff a new version is available
