SAFETY WARNINGS AND GUIDELINES

  • Do not expose this microphone to water or moisture of any kind. If it does get wet, immediately cease use and disconnect it from the mic cable, then wipe all moisture off and allow it to fully dry before using it again or storing it in a confined space.
  • Do not expose this microphone to excessively high temperatures. Do not place it in, on, or near heat sources, such as a fireplace, stove, radiator, etc. Do not leave it in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
  • Do not subject the microphone to extreme force, shock, or fluctuations in temperature or humidity. Do not drop. Store in a padded case to protect it during transport.

INTRODUCTION

The Memphis Blue Classic Dynamic Microphone is a dynamic microphone with modern performance characteristics and a look straight out of the 40s and 50s. It features a high-quality moving coil pick-up, a high sensitivity, wide frequency range, and a super-cardioid polar pattern. Designed for voice use, it has a transparent sound and a slight presence peak, which enhances voice reproduction. It is perfect for both the studio and the stage.

USAGE NOTES

  • The XLR cable will hang straight down the mic stand for clean stage look. Users may have to remove the star washer from threaded mic stands to accommodate the XLR cable.
  • When using boom-style mic stands be sure to properly brace the stand to prevent toppling.
  • Not recommended for use with clutch-style mic stands.
