NOTICE

1. Thank you for choosing our cooker hood. Please read the instruction manual carefully before use.
2. The installation must be undertaken by a qualified and competent electrician.
3. The manufacturer disclaims all liability for any damage or injury caused as a result of not following instructions for installation contained in the following text. The cooker hood is used on 220-240v, 50Hz AC supply.

INSTALLATION

1. The cooker hood should be placed at a distance of 65-75cm (26-30inch) from the cooking surface for the best effect.
   
   See Pic 1.

2. Install the hook on a suitable place once the installation height is fixed and keep straight.

3. Put the cooker hood on the hook.

NOTICE OF INSTALLATION

1. Before installation, please ensure the area is clean to avoid suction of debris, bits of wood and dust.
2. It should not share the same air ventilation duct with other appliance such as gas tube, warmer tube, and hot wind tube.
3. The bending of ventilation tube should be=120°, parallel or above the start point and should be connected to the external wall.
4. After installation, make sure that the extractor is level to avoid grease collection at one end.
5. The installation should be done by KUTCHINA authorized service technician only.
   

SAFETY WARNING

1. Do not allow your children to use the cooker hood, without adult supervision.
2. Your cooker hood is for domestic use only, not suitable for barbecue, restaurant and other commercial use.
3. Any installation work must be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.
4. The cooker hood and its filters should be cleaned regularly in order to keep in good working order.
5. Before cleaning, always ensure that you have switched off your cooker hood.
6. Clean the cooker hood according to the instruction manual and safeguard the cooker hood from the danger of burning.
7. Do not use fire/heater for drying your cooker hood.
8. If there is any fault with your cooker hood, please contact the authorized service center.
9. Please keep the room well-ventilated your cooker hood and gas hob are working.
10. The cooker hood outlet must not open into a flue that is used to expel fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels.
11. Before installation and useof your cooker hood read all the instructions and make sure that the voltage (V) and the frequency (Hz) indicated on your cooker hood are exactly the same as the voltage (V) and the frequency (Hz) in your home.
12. In order to get the most out of your cooker hood, please read the instruction manual before installing and using and keep it in a safe place.
13. Under ideal conditions, the sound emitted by the cooker hood is 58 dB(A). This may change depending on size of kitchen and other factors like environment, ambiance noise, the accessories used, etc.

OPERATION

DEZIRE

A. Gesture Control Description
Gesture switch :
Connect the components to power, all indicator lights are off after 1 second, it enters shutdown state, the chord sounds once. The system enters the gesture standby state. Hand wave backward – forward:
1st time – motor runs atlow speed
2nd time – motor runs at medium speed
3rd time – motor runs at high speed
4th time – motor stops running, chimney enters shutdown state.
After that if hand wave backward – forward, the above cycle will repeat.
Tips:
When switch on/off range hood with gesture, the hand should be aimed at the sensing area. The best interval time of switching on/off with gesture is about 2 seconds. The best interval distance of gesture control is 5-10cm. (under 4mm glass)
B. Touch Control Description

I Power/Delay: Press this button, the range hood is in the standby state. Press again, it is in the shutdown state. When the fan is running, 1 minute delay shutdown works by pressing this button. In the delay state, delay is canceled by pressing this button, it is returned to the shutdown state.
II. Light: Turn on/off lights by pressing this button.
III. Intelligent Auto Clean : This product is equipped with intelligent Auto Clean Technology. The chimney will self start the auto-clean function whenever required as per the usage so manual operation is not required. The auto-clean symbol “i” will start blinking during the cleaning process. The time period for auto-clean is 11 minutes. The product can be used during auto- clean.
IV Low/Medium Speed: Press this button in the standby state, the motor runs at medium speed. Press again, the motor runs at low speed. Press again, the motor stops running.
V. High Speed: Press this button in the standby state, the motor runs at high speed. Press again, the motor stops running.

OPERATION

TRENDO PREMIUM

A. Gesture Control Description
Press this button in shutdown state for 5 seconds, gesture function is operated ON or canceled OFF. 1)
Hand waved left to right, for the first time – motor runs at high speed and digital shows F3; for the second time – motor runs at medium speed and digital display shows F2; for the third time – motor runs at low speed and digital display shows F1. 2) Hand waved right to left – motor stops running and hood enters shutdown state.
B. Touch Control Description I. ON/OFF: Touch this button in shutdown state, hood enters standby state. Touch again to enter shutdown state.
II. Timer: When fan is running, 1 minute delay shutdown works by pressing this button. In delay state, delay is canceled by pressing this button, it is returned to shutdown state.
III. Light: Turn on/off lights by pressing this button.
IV. Auto: In standby state, 11 minute auto clean works by pressing this button. Heating works for 10 minutes and then motor runs at high speed F3 for 1 minute, which marks the end of cleaning cycle. The cooker hood then shuts down.
V. DOWN: Touch this button to decrease the speed of motor, from high speed F3 – medium speed F2 – low speed F1.
VI. UP: Touch this button to increase the speed of motor, from low speed F1 – medium speed F2-high speed F3.

TROBULESHOOTING
