- To keep snow and rain out of the camera, mount it vertically up.
- Install the camera at a height of no more than 16 feet above the ground (*the alarm system won’t be activated above this height).
- Please refrain from using a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection throughout the setup procedure since the camera only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi.
- Only the Home V app supports the camera.

What is the distance of night vision coverage?****
The camera has a field of view of 106 degrees and starlight night vision – which provides enough visibility to capture motions that are 30 ft away at night. It also depends on the exact lighting conditions, videos shown in color in low dim light conditions and shown in black & white vision at complete darkness.
Can you view videos from a laptop or desktop computer or do you have to have a smartphone with the app?****
We regret to say that the video does not support views on a laptop or desktop computer or on the Web, it is only available on smartphones currently.
Does the package come with with everything i need for set up?****
Yes, of course, everything that is used to install the camera will come with the package, no worry about that, thank you for your inquiry.
Is it free to run or is there monthly fee for app?****
No extra fee for the camera or app to run. In case when checking video history from cloud end you have to subscribe Cloud Plan. There are multiple plans for you to select.The seller offer 30-day free cloud trial.
How do you turn off night vision? And also how do you get the rich notifications to work cause mine doesn’t send a snapshot?****
The camera support turning off the IR night light and getting rich notifications if you are cloud subscriber. If you did not find the option to enable it, please go to NexHT Home app> Setting> Tap contact us> Send a case to us, we will help you find out. Looking forward to your reply soon.
Does this only record w when motion activated? I’m looking for 24 hr recording?****
Regret to say that our camera support recording only when motion is activated, there is no support 24 hr recording currently.

Why does the security camera’s night vision not function?****
Examine the lighting in the area where the camera is located. The night vision may not activate if there is too much ambient light present. The camera may be pointing at a reflecting surface if you see a halo effect on your monitor; this would prevent night vision from working.
Does a camera with night vision function during the day?****
