SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Warning: Please read all of the instructions before use
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury when using your water dispenser, follow these basic precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using the water dispenser.
  • Never clean parts with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
  • Do not store or use gasoline or any other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other water dispenser. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.

Operating Safety

  • Before operating the water dispenser to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation.
  • Use only 3 or 5 gallon water bottles.
  • Keep gasoline or any other flammable vapors and liquids away from the water dispenser.
  • Clean up any spills that may occur.
  • This water dispenser dispenses hot water at a high temperature range which could cause bodily harm. Extreme caution should bused when dispensing hot water.
  • Never lift or carry the water dispenser by the water taps or with bottle installed. Such action may damage the taps and will void the product warranty.
  • This water dispenser is intended for water dispensing only. Do not use other liquids.
  • For indoor use only.
  • Do not place water dispenser in an enclosed space or cabinet
  • Never allow children to dispense ho water without proper and direct supervision. Unplug unit to prevent unsupervised use by children.

Electrical Safety

  • This water dispenser should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this water dispenser is equipped with a three prong plug and should only be used with three prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
  • Plug the water dispenser into an exclusive properly installed-grounded wall outlet. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord.
  • This water dispenser requires a standard 115/120-volt. 60Hz electrical outlet with three-prong ground.
  • The power cord should be secured behind the water dispenser and not left exposed or dangling to prevent accidental injury.
  • Do not use an adapter plug or extension cord with this water dispenser. · To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, or any other part of the water dispenser in water or othe liquids.

Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power cord is damaged; have it replaced by a licensed electrician.

OPERATION

A. Unpacking
This water dispenser has been cleaned prior to packaging the unit . To remove any dust or debris that may have collected during shipment, we however recommend cleaning the water dispenser prior to use. Refer to the Rinsing, Cleaning and Draining section of this manual. (Page 4, Section B)

B. Locating the Water Dispenser
DO NOT PLUG IN THE POWER CORD OR TURN ON THE UNIT.
Place the water dispenser upright on a flat surface. Position the water dispenser so that there is about 10cm (4”) of clearance from the wall on the back and on both sides.

Steps to replace water bottles
  • Use a clean cloth to wipe off neck of bottle.
  • Remove cap.
  • Carefully lift bottle (approx. 40 Ibs.) using your legs and not your back. Do not place hands on opening of bottle while placing in reservoir.
  • Insert the water bottle on the water intake over reservoir opening so it settles properly on it.
  • Wipe off any water which may have splashed on dispenser top

C. Cold Water Control
Do not plug-in the water dispenser into an electrical outlet or turn on the unit until water has begun to dispense from the hot and cold water spots. Failure to follow this warning may cause the water dispenser to overheat.

To turn on the cooling operation, turn on the switch at the back of the water dispenser. The green LED Indicator light will now be lit. The green LED indicator light will stay lit while the cooling process is on. Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature the green LED indicator light will turn off and will remain off until the water dispenser starts the cooling process again.

D. Hot Water Control
**** Do not plug-in the water dispenser into an electrical outlet or turn on the unit until water has begun to dispense from the hot and cold water spots. Failure to follow this warning may cause the water dispenser to overheat.

To turn on the heating operation, turn on the switch at the back of the water dispenser. The red LED indicator light will then be lit and the heating process will start. When the water reaches the appropriate temperature the red LED indicator light will turn off. When the temperature goes down to approx 80°C (176°F), the red LED indicator light will turn on and another heating process will start.

RINSING, CLEANING AND DRAINING

For best taste and unit performance, it is recommended that the unit be cleaned each time the water bottle is replaced. Use a clean , soft cloth and mild dishwashing liquid. Empty and clean the drip trip as required. Clean the cold reservoir at least once every 3 months.
DO NOT immerse the water dispenser in water. Avoid abrasive cleaning aids such as steel wool, Do not use bleach.
Before cleaning always unplug the water dispenser from the electrical power outlet.
A. To Clean the Outside of the Unit
Use a disinfectant such as a mild dishwashing liquid and warm water to wipe down the outside of the water dispenser.
B. To Pre-Rinse, Rinse and Clean the Inside of the Unit
This water dispenser should be rinsed, cleaned and drained prior to use. Before cleaning, ensure that the unit is OFF and the unit is unplugged.
This unit has a compressor. Before connecting the Water Dispenser to an electrical outlet, let the water dispenser to stand upright for approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system while the unit was in transportation.

  1. Remove the top cover by twisting it counter-clockwise and then lift it up.
  2. Pour about 2L of water into the top of the unit where the bottle would be placed.Let the water settle for about 2 minutes.
  3. Plug the water dispenser into an electrical outlet and turn the power switch ON. Wait about 1 hour for the water to reach its optimal water temperatures.
  4. Unplug the water dispenser.
  5. Dispense the water from both the hot and cold water taps (about equally).
  6. Place the 3 or 5 gallon bottle of water on the Water Receptacle. Allow about 1 minute for the water to settle. Dispense water from both the Hot and Cold water taps to ensure water flows from both taps.
  7. Plug the water dispenser into an electrical outlet. The water dispenser is ready for use.

C. Storing the Water Dispenser
If the water dispenser is not to be used for an extended period of time, then proceed as below. Before storage.

  • Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  • Drain the water through the drain cap underneath the water cooler base.
  • Store the water dispenser in an upright position.

In order to ensure the water dispenser with enough stability, users should follow below instructions to fix the unit:

  1. Remove one of the body rear’s screw(upper right corner or upper left corner) (Picture 1)
  2. Install a bracket where you have removed the screw already, fix the bracket tightening the removed screw on the right location(Picture 2)
  3. Fix the bracket on the wall side or similar object (if the wall side is too rigid), you can make a hole by electric drill, then using expanded screw tightening the bracket(Picture 3)
  4. Warning: To avoid a hazard due to instability of the water dispenser, it must be fixed in accordance with the instructions.

TROULBLE SHOOTING

PROBLEM SOLUTION
Water is not flowing from hot or cold water tap When a bottle is first

installed, it may require you to hold the tap down for up to 30 seconds for water to begin flowing.
Water temperature is not cold enough|

  • The water dispenser does not have the correct clearances from the wall.
  • Too much water has been dispensed within a short period of time. Allow time for the cooling system to recycle.
  • The room temperature is too hot (>25°C) or the room is too humid. Find a cooler location to place your water cooler.

Water temperature is not hot enough| Check to ensure the hot switch on the back is turned on.
Vibrations| Check to ensure that the water dispenser is on a level surface.
Water leak from bottom of the water dispenser| The drain plug underneath the water dispenser has become loose. Tighten the drain plug securely. Bottle may have a small pin hole leak. Remove the bottle and drain water from the underneath drain plug, and then try a new bottle.
Water leak from the hot/cold water taps| Water taps maybe loose. Tighten the leaking tap slightly by turning it clockwise.
Water tastes ‘funny’| The water dispenser needs to be pre-cleaned or rinsed.
Water bottle condensation| Condensation on the inside of the water bottle is normal. It occurs when the temperature inside the bottle is different to outside of the bottle.
Compressor turns on and off frequently| The room temperature is too hot.The water dispenser does not have enough backside space.

LIMITED 1 YEAR WARRANTY

Royal Sovereign International Inc. and its affiliated companies (“Royal Sovereign”) warrants to the original Purchaser (“Purchaser”) of this product, that if this product if assembled and operated in accordance to the Owner’s Manual accompanying it, then for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, all parts in unit shall be free from defects in material and workmanship.

The Limited Warranty does not cover any failures or operating difficulties due to normal wear and tear, accident, abuse, misuse, alteration, misapplication, improper installation or improper maintenance or service by the Purchaser or any third party, or failure to perform normal and routine maintenance on the dispenser, as set out in the Owner’s Manual. In addition, the Limited Warranty does not cover damages to the finish, such as scratches, dents, discoloration or rust after purchase.

Returned product will not be accepted without a Return Authorization number. To request a Return Authorization number, please visit us at www.royalsovereign.com. All transportation costs for the return of damaged product or parts will be the responsibility of the Purchaser. Return defective product, in original packaging, to the address below. Upon repair or replacement the product will be returned to the original Purchaser, freight or postage prepaid

Royal Sovereign requires reasonable proof of your date of purchase from an authorized retailer or distributor. Therefore, the Purchaser should keep your receipt, invoice, or canceled check from the original purchase. The limited warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of parts which prove defective under normal use and service within the warranty period.

Royal Sovereign SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER TO PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL,OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. This Limited Warranty gives the Purchaser specific legal rights, the Purchaser may have other rights which may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an applied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
