Detailed introduction
1. Plug and play

  • Turn on the speaker with the power switch on top of the control panel, and the display shows “ ” then the ” is displayed.
    Plug the headset microphone into the MIC slot, and then your voice will be amplified.

  • When a wired microphone is plugged in any mode, a “MIC” mark will be displayed on the screen.

  • You can play music and amplify your voice at the same time.

  • In USB and Bluetooth playing mode : You can long-press the “or “ ” button to adjust the volume of BGM.

2. How to play music via U Disk

  • Insert U Disk into the USB slot, the speaker will play music automatically.
  • Short press”    “to switch to the next song, short press ”  ” to switch to the previous song. The screen will display the corresponding song number first, then show playtime.
  • When the U disk is inserted, it will automatically switch to “USB” mode. In the “USB” mode, long-press the ” M ” button to switch to a single loop, and long-press the” M” button again to switch back to all loops. The screen will display “OnE” (single loop) or “ALL” (all loop)

3. How to play recording

  • After plugging the microphone and the U disk, short press the ” R” button to start recording, the screen displays” the number on the screen is the recording time.
  • Short press the ” M” button or short press the “R” button to quit the recording.
  • The recording file is saved in the U disk. Long press the “R “button to play the recording file, and short press the”    ”    “buttons to switch to the previous recording file or next recording file.
  • Recording: support Bluetooth and MIC recording at the same time, which means It can record your voice while playing music via Bluetooth.

4. How to play music via AUX input

  • Connect the speaker to the external audio device ( with 3.5mm audio output like a computer) via audio cable included, S398 will automatically switch to the AUX mode with the screen displays” AUH “. If there is music playing, short press the “button, S398 will pause playing and mute. And short press the” “button again to resume music playing.

5. How to play music via Bluetooth

  • Press the” M “button to switch to the Bluetooth mode, when the Bluetooth is not connected, the screen displays “bLUE” with indicator flashing, and it will enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically.
  • Turn on your Bluetooth devices, find the device with the Bluetooth named S398 in the list, click to connect. After the pairing is successful, The display shows” “, with a successful connection prompt. Then the ” bLUE” on the screen will keep on.

How to play TWS

  1. Turn on two S398 speakers, click their “M” button to enter Bluetooth mode with indicator flashing, long press one of the speaker’s ” M ” buttons to enter pairing status, the other one Bluetooth indicator become solid lights means these two speakers are connected successfully.
  2. Turn on your phone or Bluetooth device and search name ” S398 ” to pair. You will hear a prompt when connected successfully. After disconnecting the TWS connection, there will also be a prompt.

6. How to charge the speaker

  • Using fast charging technology, it only takes 2 hours to fully charge the amplifier, and it supports charging while using.
  • When the battery indicator flashes, it means that S398 needs to be charged.
  • In charging status: The current battery level ” ” will be displayed on the screen. The longer the chat time, the larger number on the screen before fully charged.
  • Fully charged: The “ ” stays on the screen.

Please note:

  1. Please use a DC 5V power adapter to charge the speaker.
  2. Plug adapter into 110-240 AC outlet. Connect the cable end into the DC 5V power input on the speaker.
  3. It will normally take 2 hours to fully charge the battery.
  4. When charging, the battery level is displayed, and it shows “100” after fully charged
  5. In order to extend the life of the internal battery, please charge it regularly even if the system is not being used.
  6. Please DO NOT overcharge the battery by leaving the system plugged in continuously. This will reduce the life of the internal rechargeable battery and could cause overheating.
  7. Automatic sleep function If the S398 speaker is not used ( on the state) for more than half an hour, it will automatically shut down to save power.
