INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the 2-in-1 Toddle & Talk TurtleTM! Encourage your child to walk and explore with a cute turtle and butterfly. Watch the turtle’s head bob and the butterfly’s wings flap as the toy is pushed. Explore counting, numbers, music and turtle fun facts with three light-up buttons.

WARNING
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable
tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and
should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE
Please save this Instruction Manual as it contains important information.
Unlock the Packaging Locks
- Rotate the packaging lock 90 degrees counterclockwise.
- Pull out the packaging lock and discard.
GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation
- Make sure the unit is turned Off.
- Find the battery cover located on the bottom of the turtle. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover.
- Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
- Install 2 new AAA batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.)
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
WARNING
Adult assembly required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of reach
of children.
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
- Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
With the 2-in-1 Toddle & Talk TurtleTM, safety comes first. To ensure your child’s safety, adult assembly is required.
- Connect the Handle Top to the Handle Base as shown below. Please note that once the handle pieces are connected, they cannot be separated.
- Attach the Handle Base to the turtle’s body by inserting the Handle into the slot on the back of the turtle.
- To remove the Handle, press the two buttons on either side of the Handle Base and pull out the handle from the back of the turtle.
PRODUCT FEATURES
On/Off/Volume Selector
To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off/Volume Selector to the Low volume
position or the High volume position. You will hear a song and a welcoming
phrase. To turn the unit Off, slide the On/Off/Volume Selector to the Off
position.
Automatic Shut-Off
To preserve battery life, the 2-in-1 Toddle & Talk Turtle™ will
automatically shut off after approximately one minute without input. The unit
can be turned on again by pressing any button or turning the back wheel.
NOTE
If the unit repeatedly powers down while playing, please install a new set of
batteries.

Number Button
Press the Number Button to learn about numbers and practice counting with playful phrases and fun sounds. The lights will flash with the sounds. -
Music Button
Press the Music Button to hear playful melodies and songs. The lights will flash with the sounds. -
Animal Button
Press the Animal Button to learn about the turtle and butterfly. The lights will flash with the sounds. -
Wheel Sensor
Push or pull the turtle with or without the handle attached to hear a variety of fun sounds and short tunes. Watch the turtle’s head bob and the butterfly’s wings flap up and down. The light will flash with the sounds.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
- Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
- Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
- Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:
- Please turn the unit Off.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to play again.
- If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
