  7. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding plug has two blades and a round grounding prong. The wide blade or third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.

  8. Protect the all wires connected to this unit from being walked on or pinched, particularly plugs and the point where they exit from the unit. When removing the cord from the power outlet, remove it by holding the plug not by pulling the cord.

  9. Unplug the unit during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

  10. When wiring this unit and all other equipment used in connection to this unit make sure that all of your equipment is turned OFF.

  11. Once installation and wiring is complete power on all your equipment with the volume and level controls turned DOWN. Once all the equipment is ON slowly raise the volume or level controls to their proper positions.

  12. When grounding this unit, be sure to do so correctly, so as not to defeat the built-in grounding in this unit.

  13. Before placing, installing, rigging, or suspending any product, inspect all hardware, suspension, cabinets, transducers, brackets and associated equipment for damage. Any missing, corroded, deformed, or non-load rated component could significantly reduce the strength of the installation, placement or array. Any such condition severely reduces the safety of the installation and should be immediately corrected. Use only hardware which is rated for the loading conditions of the installation and any possible short-term, unexpected overloading. Never exceed the rating of the hardware or equipment.

  14. Consult a licensed, Professional Engineer regarding physical equipment installation. Ensure that all local, state and national regulations regarding the safety and operation of equipment are understood and adhered to.

  15. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Congratulations and thank you for your purchase of this Party Cooler. To get the most from your unit, it is recommended that you review all of the information provided in this instruction manual before operating this equipment.

SAFETY AND KIT INFORMATION

  • FOR ADULT USE ONLY. NOT INTENDED FOR OPERATION BY CHILDREN WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION.
  • To prevent electric shock, always charge the with the provided adapter indoors, in a dry environment and away from water sources.
  • When the power adapter is used as a power source, the Party Cooler Speaker should only be used indoors and away from water sources.
  • The Party Cooler Box is resistant for water spray and should not be immersed in or submerged under water.
  • The power input and USB input should always be plugged with the provided rubber plug when the Party Cooler Box is not being used.
  • Failure to use the adapter and power cord provided may create a fire hazard and may void warranty.

  1. USB Input: Insert your USB flash drive into this slot. The unit will only read .mp3, .wma and .wav files from the USB flash drive. The maximum storage size of the USB flash drive cannot exceed 32GB. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONNECT A LAPTOP, SMARTPHONE OR HARDDRIVE DIRECTLY TO THIS CONNECTOR.
    The USB connector also provides 5V/2A power to charge a smartphone, tablet etc.(1A for iOS and 2.1A for Android)

  3. Power Supply: Only use the power cord provided with the unit. When connecting and disconnecting the power cord, be sure the power of the unit is off. Connect the cord to the rear of the unit and then connect it to the USB outlet.

  4. Power Button: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to power the unit on and off.

  5. Mode Selector Button / Bluetooth TWS : Press this button to switch between the Bluetooth and USB inputs.

  6. Pre-set Equalizer: Press these buttons to switch through the pre-set equalization modes when playing from the USB and Bluetooth inputs.

  7. Previous Track Button / Decrease Volume: Press this button to move to the previous track on the USB flash drive or Bluetooth Input. Press and hold this button to decrease the volume.

  8. Play/Pause & Scan Button: When using the USB and Bluetooth inputs, press this button to play or pause the audio.

  9. Next Track Button / Increase Volume: Press this button to move to the next track on the USB flash drive or Bluetooth Input. Press and hold this button to increase the volume.

Power Cord Connection
To connect the power cord to the units power supply (3) using the provided USB power cord. If your outlet is not equipped to handle this type of plug, do not attempt to force the AC power cord into the outlet; do not alter the plug so that it can fit in the outlet. The only course of action you can take is to find another outlet which is properly equipped to handle a grounded plug or have an electrician upgrade your electrical outlet. Be sure that the plug is well connected so that it does not disconnect in the middle of usage. If at any point in time the supplied AC power cord is punctured or damaged replace it with a new power cord from a local electrician.
To power on the unit, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. After the unit has successfully powered on there will be a voice notification.

NOTE:

  • ONLY PLUG IN THE AC POWER CORD WHILE THE UNIT’S POWER IS OFF AND THE VOLUME IS TURNED DOWN.
  • TURNING ON THE UNIT WITH THE VOLUME TURNED UP MAY CAUSE THE UNIT OR ANY SPEAKERS CONNECTED TO IT TO BE DAMAGED.
  • ALWAYS TURN DOWN THE VOLUME PRIOR TO TURNING THE UNIT OFF OR ON.

Charging the Rechargeable Battery
Before operating this unit it is important to follow the procedures listed below to protect & prolong the lifespan of the rechargeable battery.

  1. Upon receiving the unit, fully charge the battery before using it. This process can take 8-10 hours. The battery can be charged with the unit either in the ON or OFF position.
  2. When the battery is charging the battery icon will flash on the display screen. When the battery is fully charged the battery icon will stop flashing.
  3. After each usage fully charge the battery.
  4. Avoid using the battery until it is completely drained.
  5. Do not leave the unit plugged in after the unit has been fully charged.
  6. Use the battery at least every two weeks. Not charging the battery periodically may result in the unit not powering on.
  7. Once the battery is depleted and no longer able to recharge, bring it to a recycling center or dispose of it in accordance with local laws.

Low Battery
When the battery level is low, there will be a voice notification for low power. Please turn off the unit and charge it

Charging a Smartphone, Tablet ETC.
The Party Cooler USB connector provides 5V/2A power to charge a smartphone, tablet etc.(1A for iOS and 2.1A for Android)

Party Cooler Operation

Using USB Flash Drive Input:
Insert the USB flash drive up to 32GB. Press the Mode button to switch to the USB input. Please and hold the Next Track / Volume + button (9) to increase the volume and the Previous Track / Volume – button to decrease the volume. The unit will play .mp3, .wma and .wav files from the USB Flash Drive. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONNECT A LAPTOP, SMARTPHONE, OR HARD DRIVE DIRECTLY TO THIS CONNECTOR.

Using the Bluetooth Input:
Once the party cooler is powered on, it will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The LED display will show “BLUE” and there will be a voice notification for pairing. Place the Bluetooth device within 3 feet of the Party Cooler and search for Bluetooth devices. Select the Bluetooth device named “*” and connect to it. Keep the Bluetooth device within 90 feet to maintain the Bluetooth connection.
NOTE:**
If the Bluetooth device is already paired to one Party Cooler the connection would need to be forgotten prior to following the steps listed above.
