SAFETY GUIDELINES
- Read all instructions before operating this converter. Place instructions where they can be used for future operations.
- The converter will not shut off automatically. Turn off immediately after use.
- Although the converter has a fan, it will get warm with use. Do not place the converter on flammable materials such as carpeting, upholstery or paper.
- Allow the converter to cool before storing.
- For indoor use only. Ensure the converter is always used or stored in a dry environment.
- Do not put fingers into the 12V receptacle.
- Close supervision is necessary when used around infants, children or anyone incapable of unplugging the converter.
- Do not use the converter to recharge batteries.
- Unplug the converter when not in use and before cleaning.
- Risk of electric shock, do not immerse the plug or converter in any liquid.
- Do not use the converter if it is wet.
- Do not use the converter with a damaged cord or plug, or if the converter has been damaged in any way.
- Do not use the converter for anything other than its intended use.
- Do not open the converter.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
The converter can be permanently mounted to any flat surface.
Rotate outwards the two metal brackets on the underside of the converter to expose the screw holes. Utilize these two brackets for mounting (screws not included).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
-
Remove all cable ties and uncoil all of the cables before using the AC to DC power converter.
-
Make sure the power switch of the converter is in the OFF position.
-
Plug the converter into a 110/120V AC standard wall outlet.
Note- The use of an extension cord is not recommended. If you require the use of an extension cord only use a heavy duty 12 gauge cord less than 50 feet (30.5 meters) long. -
Insert the 12V DC accessory plug from the device being operated into the converter’s socket (maximum draw 10 amps or 120 watts). The 12V socket is wired so the center conductor is positive (+) and the outer sleeve is negative (-).
Note – Always confirm that the 12V plug on your chosen device is wired the same way. -
Place the converter power switch in the ON position. The Red “Power On” LED will light.
-
Turn on the 12V device being operated.
-
To disconnect, reverse the procedure.
Note – Make sure to let the converter cool completely before storing.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device is not functioning:
Confirm that the converter’s red “Power On” LED is lit. If not, check to make sure the AC outlet is receiving power. If the AC outlet has no power, check wall switches, breakers and fuses.
If the red LED is on and the device is not functioning:
Remove, clean and reinsert the device’s 12V plug into the converter’s 12V socket to ensure a good connection.
Verify the device you are looking to use is working by plugging it into a vehicle’s 12V accessory port.
Check the device’s fuse (either in the 12V plug or in the device).
If the red LED is on, but goes out when the device is plugged in:
The converter is overloaded. Check the device’s power consumption requirements.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will a 120 watt vehicle tyre compressor work with it?****
Yes, provided that it uses little more than 10 amps.
Could numerous units be powered by this at once during an event?****
This is not a battery and needs 110 volts to operate, however it can power one 12 volt device.
Can I use a Fortem digital tyre inflator with this adapter?****
Yes. I frequently use it in conjunction with my Slime digital tyre inflator.
Will this function on a portable carryout satellite dish?****
Yes, provided that the inverter’s 1amp maximum amperage limit is not exceeded by the satellite’s amperage demand.
What does an AC to DC Power Converter do?****
Electrical circuits known as AC/DC converters convert alternating current (AC) input into direct current (DC) output. Rectifiers are another name for AC/DC Converters, which transform the input AC voltage into variable DC voltage before optimizing it though a filter to produce an unregulated DC voltage.
What’s the difference between converter and inverter?****
Electricity is changed from alternating current (AC) to direct current using converters (DC). Electricity is changed from direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) using inverters (AC).
How do you convert 110v to 12V?****
Simply purchase a converter made for the task from an electronics store or online, both of which will offer a wide selection, to convert 110 V AC to 12 V DC.
Why DC current is not used in homes?****
Transformers can quickly convert alternating current from low voltage to high voltage or vice versa, but direct current cannot be simply stepped up or down with the aid of a transformer. In DC rather than AC, electrolytic corrosion is more likely to occur.
Are DC amps equal to AC amps?****
Both DC amps and AC amps measure the flow of electrons past a certain location; the main difference is that the electrons in AC flow back and forth (alternating), whereas the electrons in DC flow only in one direction (direct).
How many amps are in 220 volts?****
The current produced by such a gadget when plugged into 220 V is merely 13.64 Amps (there is no need for amp breakers).
Does an inverter convert AC to DC?****
In the event of a power outage, inverters power the electric appliances. In order to charge the battery, it first converts AC to DC as the name suggests, and then it inverts DC to AC to power the electrical device.
