Choose desired way to control fan — either with the standard Varispeed controller or by using one of the three cables all supplied in the box.
These connect to the side of the fan -
Connect plug to the mains
-
Set required fan speeds
-
Test and adjust accordingly — after turning the power on the fan should rotate freely and build up speed normally
-
To operate the fan at full speed, insert the full speed plug.

PROBLEM SOLVING
- Ensure there is a fan controller attached
- If blades do not rotate — check all cables and plugs are connected correctly
- Check correct voltage is being used in accordance with the fan
- Check the fan speed is set up correctly
- If there is abnormal noise check the fan is fitted correctly with correct fastenings (excessive vibration will shorten the life span of the fan)
GENERAL ADVICE
-
The fans can be used with different controllers, but the optimum RPM may vary
-
Selecting different RPM will affect the volume of the air flow, noise and pressure in the ducting
-
The fan must be attached to a fan speed controller for it to power on.
Each controller may give a different reading than those listed -
The fans can be connected to controllers requiring RJ45 or 3-pin by using the adaptors supplied, a jack plug controller can also be connected directly into the unit
