RHINO-RACK S606 Vortex Underbar Retainer
Product Information
The S606 Vortex Underbar Retainer is a product designed to secure loads to a roof rack that uses vortex crossbars. The product comes with all the necessary hardware and instructions for installation. It includes two crossbar strap retainers, two M6 x 20mm torx screws, two M6 spring washers, two M6 x 12.5mm flat washers, two M6 nuts, one T27 torx key, and one set of instructions. Tie- down straps are sold separately.
Product Usage Instructions
- Check that the part number/kit is correct before installation.
- Read through the instructions before installing.
- Fit the roof rack accessory.
- Check and recheck that all fasteners are secure.
- Use tie-down straps to secure the load before driving.
- Loosely assemble the supplied hardware as shown in the instructions.
- With the end cap removed from the crossbar, slide the assembly into position (front and rear) and tighten it in place with the torx key provided. Replace the end cap.
- Use a tie-down strap and pull it through the strap retainer.
- Take the strap over the load, around and under the crossbar, and back through the locking mechanism on the strap.
- Ensure the strap is pulled down and taut. This will ensure that the load cannot slide out.
Note for dealers and fitters: It is your responsibility to ensure that these fitting instructions are given to the end user or client.
Tools required: Torx key (provided), tie-down straps (sold separately).

Note:
For use with vortex crossbars. Tie-down straps are sold separately. Always be
sure the load is secure before driving.

Instructions
- Loosely assemble the supplied hardware as shown.
