Product Information
RSWS – Rhino Spare Wheel Strap
The Rhino Spare Wheel Strap (RSWS) is designed to suit Rhino Pioneer/Alloy Tray and is intended to hold a spare wheel securely in place during transportation. The strap has a 150kg lashing capacity on the polyester webbing and must not be used for lifting. The user must always inspect the strap prior to use, protect it from friction and abrasion, and must not tie knots in the webbing. The strap should not be used if it is damaged.
The RSWS kit includes a spare wheel strap 3 way, three 1.3m straps, one fitting instruction, and an Eye Bolt Kit 43178 (not included). The assembly of the hardware is necessary to fit the strap onto the vehicle. The strap should be used only with non-stretch fastening ropes or straps, and caution should be exercised when driving off-road as the vehicle’s roof height has been increased. Dealers and fitters are responsible for ensuring that the instructions are given to the end-user or client. The handling characteristics of the vehicle change when a load is transported on the roof, and special consideration must be taken into account when negotiating corners and under braking.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installation, read the instructions carefully and check the contents of the kit.
