ASTE FINLAND SR 100 Subster Series Open Top Cooler

General

The minimum duration of the guarantee is 12 months*. Guarantee that covers the materials used in its production and any manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not cover damage arising from incorrect installation or usage. The appliance should be located in a spot where the temperature does not exceed +25 C and the relative humidity is no more than 60%.
Environmental Policy
The basic is to consider the environment throughout the whole lifetime of our products; from design process through production till the final recycling. The environmental policy includes the following aspects:

  • We design energy-efficient products
  • Products are designed to use natural, environment-friendly refrigerants (R600, R290)
  • Materials used on production are recyclable whenever possible
  • We aim utilize recycled materials whenever possible
  • Our products are packed with easily recyclable materials that support the sustainable development
  • Our target on production is the minimizing, sorting and utilization of waste
  • We aim to maximize the energy efficiency of our production
  • Our suppliers are evaluated by the consideration of environmental aspects

We explore continuously the economical and effective use of new environmentally friendly materials on our products and production. Our target is to minimize the use of nonrenewable natural resources. We believe that considering of sustainable development when choosing materials and energy consumption brings the most benefit to us and our customers now and in the future.

Note: Look after your environment! The packaging materials used for the appliance are 100% recyclable materials.

Note: When you finally stop using the appliance, take the product to an appropriate recycling point.

Start- Up

  1. Check that the packaging and appliance are intact. Check the external condition of the packaging and the appliance when you remove the appliance from its packaging. Notify the vendor as soon as possible of any problems with the packaging or the appliance.
  2. Lift the appliance correctly. The product may be lifted, when necessary, from its base.
  3. Correct positioning of the appliance. The appliance is designed to be used on an even surface indoors. Avoid placing the appliance in direct sunlight!
  4. Clean the appliance externally and internally using a soft, lint-free cloth. Don’t use detergents that contain abrasive ingredients. Use mild detergents such as washing-up liquid. Dry the appliance carefully with a lint-free cloth.
  5. Checking the air inlet. Make sure that the air inlets at the bottom of the appliance are not covered.
  6. Connecting to a power supply. Connect the appliance to an earthed socket (10 A, 220-240/50Hz) using the power cable supplied. Avoid using extension leads.
  7. Operating the appliance for the first time. When connecting the appliance to the mains current, check that the appliance starts up correctly and that cold air starts to flow from the airduct. Using the electronic temperature control, you can check that the temperature has started to fall.

Usage

Electronic Controller

  • Short press: No action
  • Long press: Start manual defrosting
  • Short press: Increase temperature
  • Long press: No action
  • Short press: Light ON/OFF
  • Long press: Power ON/OFF
  • Short press: Decrease temperature
  • Long press: No action

The controller shows setpoint temperature in normal mode

Filling

Caution: Never pour products into the appliance!

Never pour products into the appliance! The best way to fill the appliance is by stacking products systematically. Before transferring new items into the appliance, make sure that their temperature does not exceed +25 C. It is recommended that you do not add any items above the level of the air duct, because the temperature rises quickly above this level.

Maintenance

Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning! When necessary, clean the surfaces of the appliance using a soft, lint-free cloth. For cleaning, use mild detergents that do not contain abrasive ingredients. Dry the appliance carefully with a lint-free cloth. When necessary, clean around the appliance (removing dust, paper, grit, etc.). Maintain and clean the appliance in a proper way. If the condenser coil is not cleaned at least 2 times per year, the efficiency of the appliance will decrease significantly.

Intended Use

The appliance is designed for storing and cooling packaged food and drinks. Take note of the required storage temperatures for different items of food and drink. Use of the appliance for other purposes is not recommended without consulting the manufacturer.
