Get to know your camera

Getting started

Step 1
Rotate and remove the front facing part of the  camera while holding the back cover stationary.

Step 2
Insert the battery according to the proceeding illustration.
Press the button to remove the battery. Step 3
Once the battery is installed, replace the back cover and rotate to secure.

WARNING:

The lithium battery provided is rechargeable. Before installing the battery into the camera, please fully charge the battery with the  included USB power cable before use.
Note: we cannot guarantee the safety of other brands of batteries or chargers.

Pairing your camera

Step 1
Download the Kami Home App
Note : You must register a Kami account before you  can log in.
Step 2
Log into your Kami Home App, tap the “+” sign and select Kami Wire-Free Outdoor Camera 2.
Step 3
Ensure that your cell phone is on the 2.4GHz WiFi  network.
Step 4
Press the Operating Button to power on the device. When the light blinks and “Waiting to connect” is  heard, tap “I heard ‘Waiting to connect'”on your screen.

Step 5
2.4GHz Wi-Fi required.
“Enter your Wi-Fi network password and tap the ” “Please connect to Wi-Fi”” button.
A QR code will appear on you   phone’s screen. Point the QR code towards  the camera lens until you hear the following voice prompts “”QR code is successful, connecting to Wi-Fi”” and “”Wi-Fi is connected””.”
Step 6
Tap “Next” step. You will hear the voice prompt  “Pairing is successful”.
Step 7
Create a name for the camera.  This can be a custom name or the location of the camera. Click Finish to complete the pairing process.
Your Kami Wire-Free Outdoor Camera 2 is now ready to  use.

Mounting instructions

Step 1
Use the provided anchors and screws to mount the wall mount base. If the wall is wooden, you can screw the mount directly.

Step 2
Attach your camera to the camera base and secure it by rotating clockwise.
Step 3
Adjust the camera’s view angle to your preferred position.

While mounting, pay attention to the following:

1. Avoid installing the camera with the camera lens facing direct sunlight.
2.  Mind any  plants or objects that may obstruct the view.
3.  We suggest you mount the camera within a 33 foot (10 meter) range  of your Wi-Fi router. The shorter the distance between your Wi-Fi router  and your camera, the better the performance of your camera.
4.  If you do not want to mount your camera to a wall, use the included camera stand to place your camera anywhere.

  Notice

1. Before operating the camera, make sure to fully charge the included battery.
2. Extreme weather conditions can affect battery effeciency. Please check the ambient temperature. We suggest only operating the camera between 14° to 122° Degrees Fahrenheit.
3. After a long period of   use, the weather-resistant ring in your camera may weaken. If you notice any damage or  weakness, please  replace it.
