Welcome
Youdao Dictionary Pen 3 is a portable device that allows vocabulary index and interpretation. With a quick scan, it offers instant scan results, context translation and pronunciation, and it can significantly improve your learning efficiency.
Activate the Device
Youdao Dictionary Pen 3 needs to be activated with Wi-Fi connection tar initial setup. Once activated, it does not need to be activated again. Please take the following steps to activate the device.

Long press the power button to activate the device. Select your preferred language and click to configure network.

Choose an network with a 2.40 Wi-H connection and input the password. ‘5G Wi-Fi is not supported

Interface Features
Vocabulary Index and Interpretation
Scan to search for words and interpreta-tion. Hold the pen, point at the
beginning of the text, and press down gently. Move your pen at a steady pace
along with the text. Lift the pen at the end of the text to get the result.
The Dictionary Pen supports automatic multiline scanning. Scanned contents
will be translated as complete sentences within 2 seconds as you lift the pen.
Tap and Check
Youdao Dictionary Pen 3 supports quick translation by simply ‘Tap and Check’. The pen can recognize and generate the whole word as you press it down gently with target words or phrases included.
