Thank you for purchasing this quality Lucci product. To ensure correct function and safety, please read and follow all instructions carefully before assembly, installation and use of this product. Please keep instructions for future reference.
Warranty
- This fitting is covered by a 3-year warranty. The warranty is from date of purchase, not the date of installation.
- If the fitting is not assembled and installed by a licensed electrician the warranty will be void.
- Please retain the proof of purchase and evidence of assembly and installation by a licensed electrician.
- Warranty will be void if there is any damage due to improper usage or modification to the fitting.
- Failure to comply with the instructions in this manual may increase the risk of damage or injury and will void the warranty.
Installation requirements
- This fitting must be assembled and installed by a licensed electrician.
- All wiring and installation of the light fitting must adhere to local and national wiring rules. eg. AS/NZS 3000:2007/Amendment 2:2012 Electrical installations.
- Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating
- This product is rated at IP24.
- The unit can be installed in flat ceilings with a minimum height of 2 meters. At least 220mm height clearance in the ceiling cavity is required to ensure sufficient ventilation for moisture to disperse. The unit must also be installed at least 400mm away from the walls.
- Ensure adequate inlets exist through windows, vents or under the door for airflow.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Before cutting a hole in the ceiling, check that there are no ceiling joists, etc. or electrical wiring above the desired mounting location.
- Lay out all the components on a smooth surface and make sure there are no components missing before assembling.
- Check whether the fitting has been damaged during transport. Do not operate/install any product which appears damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, repair or replacement.
- Ensure power to the circuit you are working on has been switched OFF.
Installation directions
- Remove the heat globes and illumination globe from the lamp holder.
- Remove the fascia from the body of the heater by loosening the spring hooks from the holes of the fascia.
- The unit may be mounted either between joists using the in-built clip fasteners or against a joist using a screw through the flange plate. Use this card in its open state as a template. Place in the required location and mark out the hole cutting size. Please refer to the specification for the cutout size. Step 1.
- Before commencing cutting ensure that the area behind the intended location is clear of all cables, pipes, and joists. Once clear, cut out the section along the previously marked lines. Step 2.
- Install the duct cover on the wall; make sure the blind shutters facing down.
- Install the vent duct to the exhaust hole on the fan body and fix it with a tie cable.
- Install the other end of the vent duct to duct cover and fix it with a tie cable.
- Insert the unit into the square hole ensuring to pull the side springs inward so that the body can pass through the hole without damaging the plaster. Ensure that the unit is held securely in place by the clips. If required, additional screws can be used to aid in holding the unit in the ceiling. Screw holes are provided in the flange for this purpose. Step 3.
- Hold the Fascia against the body of the heater and the ceiling and attach the securing spring clips to hold the Fascia in place. Step 4.
- Install the heat lamps into the lamp holder through the holes provided in the Fascia. The globes should be screwed up firmly to ensure a good electrical contact but don’t overtighten. Next, fit the small center globe in the same way ensuring that it is positioned centrally. Step 5.
Wiring
- Remove the terminal cover on the fan body by loosening the screws and wire according to the label adjacent to the terminal block. Make sure all cables are securely connected and reinstall the terminal cover.
- Connect the wiring to the switches as shown in the below electrical diagram.
- Install the plate of the wall switch on the wall.
Safety tips
- The supplied LED globes aare NOT dimmable. DO NOT connect the LED globes with dimming circuits.
- Always ensure the power is OFF and the lamp has cooled down before performing any maintenance, cleaning, changing the globe or adjustment to the fan.
- Do not touch the globe with bare hands. Use a clean cloth, gloves or a tissue.
- Ensure that the fitting does not come in contact with corrosive chemicals, etc.
- To clean, wipe with a damp clean cloth. Do NOT soak or immerse the product in water or other liquids.

BATHROOM HEATER WARRANTY CARD
Every Lucci Thermalite 3 in 1 is thoroughly inspected and tested before being
released for sale. In addition to any warranties or conditions implied by
applicable Statue or Regulation, Lucci Design warrants all of it’s bathroom
heaters against defective workmanship and faulty materials for thirty-six (36)
months from the original date of purchase. Lucci Design undertakes, at its an
option, to repair or replace, free of charge, each product or part thereof
subject to the below warranty conditions;
- The fan or relevant part has not been modified, subjected to misuse, neglect, or been involved in an accident.
- The repairs are not required as a result of normal wear and tear.
- The product was installed by a licensed electrical contractor in accordance with this instruction manual.
- No solid state speed control device has been used with the appliance.
- A copy of the original receipt of purchase is presented.
- Globes supplied are not covered by this warranty
Lucci Design cannot be held responsible for any repair other than those
carried out by it or one of it’s Authorised Service Agents. Please keep this
warranty card in a safe place. This card must be produced in the event of
service being required.
