Download and install APP

(1) iPhone: search for “ifanin” in APP Store or scan the QR code.
(2) Android: search for “ifanin” in Google play or scan the QR code .

Turn on

Press the key of ON/OFF on the power for 5 seconds until the blue light or the indicator flashes and you hear the sound or ‘toot’.

Power off

In the hoot state press the key oi ON/OFF on the power for 5 seconds you will hear the ‘toot’ sound and then see the indicator goes out:

Answer or hung up

When a phone calls in or dials, hold down the up and down buttons or volume adjustment simultaneously to answer or hang up the phone.

Bluetooth connection between translator and mobile phone

(1) When the translator is turned on press the up and down buttons of the volume adjustment simultaneously until the blue light or the indicator flashes quickly (flickering 3 times per second is a fast flicker state).
(2) Open the phone’s Bluetooth interface (For Android phones,click search or refresh, and for iPhone just turn on the Bluetooth switch).
(3) When a new device “TIP” appears. click ”TIP” to pair up the conncction, and the bottom or “TIP” is shown to be connected after the connection is successful.
(4) If “TIP” is not searched. repeat the process, or restart the phone.

Translation language setting

(1) When you enter APP you need to wait for the top of the interface to turn green (iPhone is automatic connection. Android phones need to click “connect equiprnent “button search and click to connect).
(2) Enter “face to face translation”and choose the language in which you speak to each other. On the left is the language or your own speech, and on the right is the language of the other person. Then go to the setting interface to select the Speaking mode.

A. Stand-alone mode:
Your side speak: Press the down botton of the voice input key on the translator. and start talking When you hear a ”beep”. At the end of the speech. release the button, the translator will automatically play the translated voice after two times or the “beep” . The other side speaks: Press the up botton of the voice input key on the translator. and you can start talking when you hear a “beep” prompt.

B. Duplex mode (manual)
Your side speak: Press the talk button in the APP interface to start talking and release the button after the end of the speech. The translator automatically plays the translated voice. The other side speaks: Press the translator’s voice input key (both up and down key can work), and start talking when you hear the ”beep” of a prompt. At the end of the speech. release the button and the translator prompts “beep” twice. The mobile phone automatically plays the translated voice.

(3) Enter “Picture translation” and choose the language, On the left is the language which you want to translate, On the right is the language which you want to translate to. Then click the ‘”MIC” button and follow the tips to take the picture.
(4) Enter “Recording translation” and choose the langunge, On the left is the language which you want to translate, On the right is the language which you want to translate to. Then click the ”Start” button. This function can record 5 minutes, then it will log out you need reenter.

Explanation of indicator lamp for translator

(I) Blue lights flicker quickly: The translator went into pairing mode and flashed three times at 1 second.
(2) Blue light llickering slowly: The translator goes into normal working condition and flashes once at 3 seconds (device already paired with mobile phone Bluctooth).
(3) The green light is always on: the translator enters the speech state.
