There is no issue switching from 220v to 110v 50 Hz, but please check your dishwasher’s instantaneous peak power (in general, the maximum instantaneous power may be between 2 and 5 times the rated power). The maximum instantaneous power of your dishwasher must be more than the watts of the voltage converter you need to purchase.

Will this run a 230 VAC, single-phase, 1 horsepower water pump?****

It should be fine, but we advise purchasing 5kw for safety. Because the voltage converter’s wattage must be more than the pump’s max power (the peak power may be about 2 to 5 times the rated power). So, we advise purchasing 5kw, which might be safer. 1 hp ≈745.7w, 745.72 = 1491.4 W, 745.75 = 3728.5 W

In the UK, I want to be able to power 110v fan and 110v airbrush compressor. They total 2200 watts. Will this item function properly?****

Can I use this with the 1600W Dyson Air wrap?****

It is not possible to use the 2000w voltage converter if the marked power is 1600w. In order to ensure your safety, please check the peak/instantaneous power of your Dyson air wrap before investing in a voltage transformer.

Can I use this to plug in a 220V UV light purchased abroad to 110V in the US?****

Yes, simply plug in the converter, switch the output to 220, and you’re ready to go.

Can I use it to switch a clothes dryer from 120 volts to 220 volts in the United States?****

Please determine whether the Anbull voltage transformer can fulfill your equipment needs by checking the input voltage and wattage of your equipment. It is fine if the input voltage of 200V is converted to 110V in the USA. It cannot if the input voltage is 100V.

What is the difference between voltage converter and transformer?****

Do you need a transformer for 220V?****
