IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT

WARNING

• NEVER PLACE AN INFANT TO SLEEP ON AIR MATTRESSES.
• Never introduce any flammable substance into the inflatable airbed, SUCH AS AEROSOL TIRE REPAIR PRODUCTS, as it may ignite or explode.
• This is not a toy. Children must not be left unattended when using the airbed.
• If a storage bag is included, keep the storage bag away from babies and children. The storage bag is not a toy. When not in use, fold the bag and put it away out of the reach of children.
• Do not walk, stand on or jump on or use the airbed as a trampoline.
• Do not use on or near water. This is not a raft.
• Do not set up bed near stairs, doors, sharp edges or breakable objects. Provide adequate space between bed and objects to avoid entrapment.
• Make sure the area is flat, smooth, even and free of sharp objects that could puncture the bed.
• Keep pets away from the airbed. Pets may puncture the surface of the bed.
• Avoid sleeping on the edge of the airbed. Edges produce less support than the middle of the bed.
• Do not obstruct the air passage opening or insert any objects into the air passage opening.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose to rain. Store indoors.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

INSTRUCTIONS

The pump uses the power supplied by a standard USB socket. Older USB adapters do not supply enough power for the pump to fully inflate the airbed. Newer “fast charge” adapters need to be used. Check that your adapter’s output is 2A or more for optimum operation. Most USB charge ports in vehicles are too weak: a 12 volt USB adapter (12V Car Charger) may be needed. If the pump won’t inflate the bed fully within 7 minutes, you probably need higher output.

General

• The air pump requires an external power adapter (not included) to operate.
• Air pump input voltage / current rating: 5V / 2A or more.
• Make sure the output of the external power adapter, such as USB Wall Charger, Portable USB Charger, 12V Car Charger or USB Port is rated 5V / 2A or more.
• No specific air pump maintenance is required. Air pump has no user serviceable parts.
• Make sure the area is flat, level, clean and free from sharp objects. To prevent puncture or damage to the airbed, never drag the airbed across the ground. Lift the inflated airbed when moving or changing location.
• During outdoor use, place a protective layer such as a tarp (not included) between the selected surface and the airbed in order to prevent damage to the airbed.
• For cleaning use only clean cloth with mild soapy solution. Do not use any chemicals.
• In case of repairs, use only common PVC repair glue and patches. For flocked surfaces: rub away the flocking material with an eraser first before applying the glue and/or patch.

INFLATION

1. Open line cord compartment cover and pull out the USB cable. See Fig (1).
2. Connect the USB cable to one of the following external power adapters (not included):
   • USB Wall Charger rated 5V / 2A or more. See Fig (2).
   • Portable USB Charger rated 5V / 2A or more. See Fig (3).
   • 12V Car Charger rated 5V / 2A or more. See Fig (4).
   • USB Port rated 5V / 2A or more. See Fig (5).
3. Turn the control dial to the inflation mark . See Fig (6).
4. When the airbed is fully inflated, turn the control dial back to the off mark position closing the inflation valve. See Fig (7).
5. Lie down on the airbed to test the firmness.
6. If the airbed feels too firm, release some air by simply turning the control dial to the deflation mark until desired firmness is achieved, then turn the control dial back to the off mark position. If the bed feels too soft, repeat steps #3 to #6 as necessary.

DEFLATION

1. Connect the USB cable to an appropriate external power adapter. See Fig (2-5).
2. Turn the control dial to the deflation mark. See Fig (8).
3. With the airbed fully deflated begin rolling the airbed from the end opposite of the pump towards the end where the pump is located. See Fig (9).
4. When all the air is removed from the airbed, turn the control dial back to the off mark closing the valve.
5. Disconnect the USB cable from the external power adapter, place it inside the cord compartment and close the cover. Make sure the USB cable is free of twists, kinks or knots.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Proper inflation of the airbed.
The ambient temperatures of air have an effect on the airbed internal pressure. At low ambient temperature the air will contract within the airbed and the airbed will feel softer: add air as necessary. At high ambient temperature the air within the airbed will expand significantly and the airbed will become hard and may burst: release air to avoid damage to the airbed or to soften the feel. Do not expose the airbed to extreme temperatures (hot or cold). Stretching is a natural characteristic of new vinyl. During initial use, the airbed may become soft and require additional inflation to maintain desired firmness. This is normal for the first few days of use. Dimensions shown are approximate and will vary due to the vinyl temperature and the air temperature.
In no event shall Intex, their authorized agents or employees be liable for damages (such as pin holes) to the airbed caused by negligence, ordinary wear and tear, abuse and carelessness, or external forces.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Deflate the airbed following the “DEFLATION” instructions.
2. Make sure the airbed is clean and dry.
3. Lay the airbed flat with the sleeping surface facing upwards and follow the folding steps on Figs (10 – 14). Fold the airbed loosely and avoid sharp bends, corners and creases which can damage the airbed.
4. Place the airbed inside the storage bag (if included) or the original packaging and store in a dry place.

INFLATION OPTION

If electrical power is not available, a conventional foot, manual, or battery- operated air pump can be used by connecting it to the manual inflation port located inside the line cord compartment. Do not use high-pressure air compressors. See Fig (15). Follow these steps:

1. Open line cord compartment cover and locate the manual inflation port.

2. Make sure the control dial of the internal electric pump is still in the off mark position.

3. Remove the cap from the manual inflation port and insert the nozzle of the pump into the port. Inflate the airbed to desired firmness.
   NOTE: Do not overinflate. The firmness should be approximately the same as the level achieved with the internal electric pump.

4. Remove nozzle from manual inflation port and close the cap and the line cord cover.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

•  Pump running continuously for 30 minutes, motor protection system activated.

•  Pump continuously connected to a portable USB charger and idled, hence the portable USB charger is in rest mode.

| •  Make sure the output of the external power adapter, such as USB Wall Charger, Portable USB Charger, 12V Car Charger or USB Port is rated 5V / 2A or more. See “INFLATION” section.

•  Switch off and disconnect the line cord from the power adapter/ supply. Let the pump rest for 1 minute before restarting.

•  Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable to

the portable USB charger.

Airbed not fully

inflated after 5 – 7 minutes of inflation

| •  The external power adapter/ supply output amperage (A) is less than 2A.

•  The manual inflation port cap is

not securely closed.

| •  Make sure the output of the external power adapter, such as USB Wall Charger, Portable USB Charger, 12V Car Charger or USB Port is rated 5V    / 2A or more. See “INFLATION” section.

•  Push the cap firmly into the manual inflation

port.

Air leaking from the pump panel or compartment cover| •  The control dial is not in the off

mark (  ) position.

•  The manual inflation port cap is

not securely closed.

| •  Turn the control dial to the off mark (  ) position after inflation is completed.

•  Push the cap firmly into the manual inflation

port.
