Changing Receiver Channel

  • Receiver Channel Setting:
  •  Scan Automatically for a Receiver Channel: Press & hold SCAN button 0 for 1 second, channel number in LED screen starts blinking. Press and release SCAN button once will automatically scans the environment and stops at the next open, interference-free channel. The new channel appears on the display. Fig. 2 Note: If SCAN button is not pressed within six (6) blinks during activation the channel number reverts back to the last default channel number

Wireless Receiver Module

  •  Scan Manually for a Receiver Channel: Press & hold SCAN button 0 , channel number in LED screen starts blinking. Press & hold SCAN button will force the channel number to go forward to the next channel in order after two consecutive blinks. When the desired channel number is located, release the button to stop and the new channel appears on the display.

When to Change a Receiver Channel?

  •  When noise interference is heard during operation.
  •  When multiple compatible channels are required to be used at the same installation and at the same lime.

Tips on Setting Receiver Channels:

  •  Do not change receiver channel during multiple compatible channels operation to prevent possible interference with existing transmitting signals.
  •  When channel number displays ” _ • denoting the channel is under interference. Change to another channel is recommended.

ACT Channel Synchronization

  1.  Turn on the receiver. Press the ACT (sync) button on the receiver. The channel / group number start blinking.
  2.  Turn on the transmitter. Align the red color IR sync windows of both the transmitter and receiver at a distance of <30 cm (12 inch). Fig. 4
  3.  When the transmitter and receiver are properly aligned, the sync will automatically occur and channel/group number will stop blinking.
  4.  Note: If the ACT sync fails, repeat the sync procedure, carefully maintaining alignment between the IR windows of the transmitter and receiver and ensuring fresh batt

Receiver Module Dimensions and Wiring Diagram

The dimensions of MRM-70 module are as shown in Fig. 5. To install the receiver module, carefully align the edge connector and push the receiver module into place. Then fasten the two outside locking screws to secure the receiver module.
