FLYSKY KY-MiniZRF3 2.4G AFHDS3 Mini Receiver
Introduction
The FS-MiniZRF3 is a receiver that uses the AFHDS 3 protocol and is dedicated to the Mini-Z EVO. It has a single-antenna, uses one-way transmission and features a unique compact design that saves space.

Binding
- First put the transmitter into bind mode (see the transmitter’s user manual for instructions on how to activate bind mode.)
- Press receiver’s bind key and connect the receiver to power at the same time. The receiver’s red LED will start to flash quickly indicating that it has entered bind mode. When the receiver’s red LED stops flashing the transmitter and receiver have successfully bound. When the receiver’s red LED flash slowy indicating losing signal.
- Check to make sure that the transmitter and receiver are working as expected, if there are any issues or unexpected operation follow the steps above to bind again.
Forced update
If the transmitter and receiver cannot be bound after the transmitter has been updated, then a forced update must be performed on the receiver.
- Press and hold the receiver’s bind and power buttons at the same time. Continue to hold bind buttons for 10 seconds after the receiver powers on. When the receiver enters forced update mode the status indicator will begin flashing slowly.
- Select “Update Receiver” from the transmitter’s “Receiver Set” menu. At this point the update will start and the receiver’s status indicator will begin flashing rapidly.
- After the update is complete: The receiver’s status indicator will stop flashing and remain on, the transmitter and receiver will be bound and should be working as expected. If the status indicator starts flashing slowly again then bind the transmitter and receiver again.
Failsafe
This function protects the user by preventing the model from behaving unexpectedly if signal is lost. In the EVO mode, the transmitter defaults to a preset failsafe profile so it is not required to set up a failsafe manually.
Compatibility
The receiver is compatible with Noble NB4(EVO).
Attention:
- Make sure the product is installed and calibrated correctly, failure to do so may result in serious injury.
- Make sure the receiver’s battery is disconnected before turning off the transmitter, failure to do so may lead to unintended operation or loss of control.
- Make sure the receiver is mounted away from motors, electronic speed controllers or any device that emits excessive electrical noise.
- Keep the receiver’s antenna at least 1cm away from conductive materials such as carbon or metal.
- Do not power on the receiver during the setup process to prevent loss of control.

CE Warning

located or operating in conjunction with any other transmitter. End-users and

transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance.
Environmentally-friendly disposal
Old electrical appliances must not be disposed of together with the residual
waste, but have to be disposed of separately. The disposal at the communal
collecting point via private persons is for free. The owner of old appliances
is responsible to bring the appliances to these collecting points or to
