Device Overview

Auto-on & Pairing & Auto-off

  • A: Ensure to remove stickers from both buds and charge fully before using. After that, open the top cover to Power on.
  • B: Tap „HiFuture SmartPods 2“ from the smartphone’s Bluetooth menu. There s a voice prompt „Your Device is Connected“ after successful connection.
  • C: Both buds will be AUTO OFF after putting into the case and with the cover closed for approximately 3 seconds or disconnected with a smartphone over 5 minutes.
  • Please charge earbuds before using them.

Manual OFF

Long tap L and R earbuds for 5 seconds to Power OFF in free mode (Music, Calling and Gaming Modes invalid)HiFuture-SMARTPODS-2-True-Wireless-Earbuds-

Manual ON

While earbuds are in OFF mode, Long Tap L and R earbuds for 2 seconds to Power ON.

Factory Rest

  • Step 1, Place both earbuds into the charging case
  • Step 2, Do not close charging case cover
  • Step 3, Hold rear multi-function button for approximately 8 seconds until indicator lights flash
  • Step 4, Remove “HiFuture SmartPods2” from your Device’ s Bluetooth list
  • After Reseting, delete the paired “HiFuture SmartPods2” from your devices and re-pairing it.

  1.  Please do not use device near any form of heat sources.
  2.  Please use accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  3.  Please refer all services to qualified personnel should there be any form of damage to the device.
  4.  Keep this user manual for future reference/troubleshooting.
  5.  Please heed ALL safety cautions.

Safety cautions

  1.  Always keep device AWAY from fire and heat sources.
  2.  Do Not attempt to disassemble or alter the device.
  3.  Do Not expose the device to excessive heat. (Direct sunlight e. g.)
  4.  Do not immerse/expose device to any form of fluids.

Warning

  • Using earphones at moderate to high volumes for extended periods of time will result in permanent hearing damage.
  • We recommend that you keep media playback volume level from low to moderate at all times.
  • Please do not use earphones while performing activities that require hearing surrounding noises/sounds. (Driving, Cycling, joggling etc.)

Charging

Use Type C charging cable to charge.

  • Recommended Charging voltage: 5V@500mA to 1A
  • SmartPods2 powers off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity*
  • Battery will be discharged automatically is left unused over a long period of time*

  • “Reject or End Call Alarm“ *Available for some Android phones, not supported on IOS phones

  • “Gaming Mode OFF“
  • *The Gaming Mode is designed for Game Playing which enables lower Bluetooth latency, it might lower the connection quality while in Music Listening with this functionary ON.

Cleaning & maintenance

Wipe down SmartPods2 with a soft dry cloth. Remove silicone ear-tips and clean with cotton buds.

Troubleshooting

I can’t find “HiFuture SmartPods2” on my Bluetooth devices list/an unstable connection.

  1.  Make sure “SmartPods2” and your device are within Bluetooth working distance.
  2.  Make sure SmartPods2 is charged and has enough power.
  3.  Perform a factory reset and re-attempt to pair again.

Disconnection occurred within Bluetooth working distance.

  1.  Please make sure there are no metals or other materials within a relatively close range which will interfere with the Bluetooth connection.

The tap controls don’t seem to be working.

  1.  Check if the earbuds are connected to your Bluetooth device. Recommended devices operating system -1OS8,0/ Android 4.3 and above.
  2.  Tap sensors are only activated 1 second after a successful connection to avoid misoperation.
