Information about these operating instructions
Congratulations! You have purchased a high-quality product. Familiarise yourself with the product before using it. To do this, read the following operating instructions thoroughly. Use the product only as described and for the range of applications specified. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. Please, also pass all associated documents on to any future owner(s).

Proper use
This product is designed exclusively for transporting loads in domestic households. The product is not designed for use on stairways or steep terrain and is not intended for the transportation of humans or live animals. Commercial or industrial use is not permitted. No liability will be assumed in cases of improper use. No liability will be assumed for damage caused by misuse or improper handling, the use of force or unauthorized modification. The risk shall be borne solely by the user.

Safety

WARNING! There is a risk of injury and property damage!

  • Do not wrap the fastening bungee over sharp edges or corners!
  • It must not be used for lifting loads!
  • Do not use the fastening bungee if it is damaged.
  • Overloading the fastening bungee can cause it to tear and snap back, which can be dangerous!
  • Maximum permissible tensile force Fperm. is 300 N.
  • Do not stretch the fastening bungee longer than the maximum usable length of 130 cm!
  • Keep out of reach of children!
  • Keep your eyes, face and unprotected body parts out of the way of any possible spring-back paths!
  • The fastening bungee may not be used for securing heavy or large (wind-re-sistant) loads! Provide additional anchoring for parts with a large surface area that are susceptible to the wind.
  • Take additional forces into account (wind, braking, lifting forces).
  • The fastening bungee alone is not sufficient for attaching and securing loads to vehicles!
  • Use it only for attaching light loads.
    • Check the product before every use to make sure it is in perfect condition. Do not use the product if it is damaged in any way.
    • If it does not work properly or has been damaged, the product should be checked immediately and repaired by customer service.
    • This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the hands of children.
    • Do not tie several fastening bungees together.
    •  Do not modify the end attachment of the elastic fastening bungee.
    • Never apply a load of more than 50 kg.
    • Do not continue to use the product if it is overloaded. This could lead to damage that is not immediately visible.
    • Use the product only on smooth, even surfaces, and not on stairways or steep slopes.
    • Be careful when folding the product. Avoid getting your fingers or hands caught.
    • Check each screw connection at regular intervals.
    • Never use the product for purposes other than those described in these instructions.

NOTE

Use

  • Undo the elastic fastening bungee and unfold the product until it audibly clicks into place (see fig. 1).
  • Press the knob on the handle and pull the telescopic bar out until it clicks into place (see fig. 2).

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY

Do not stretch the fastening bungee more than the maximum usable length of 130 cm. Keep your eyes, face and unprotected body parts out of range of a possible spring back.

NOTE

  • The fastening bungee must be under tension to ensure that the load is held in place. Observe the size of the load.
  • Never apply a load of more than 50 kg.
  • Place a load onto the load area. Do not stack multiple loads.
  • Place the load centrally on the load area.
  • Attach the load with the fastening bungee (see fig. 3).
  • Make sure that the fastening bungee is sufficiently tightened so that the load is firmly held in place.
  • Also make sure that the fastening bungee is sufficiently tightened even for small loads (see fig. 4). The arrow symbol shows where the fastening bungee can be hooked on.
  • Move the product by pulling it behind you on both wheels.

Dismantling/storage

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY

  • Remove any load before converting the product.
  • Risk of crushing! A lot of force is required for folding the product. Make sure that you do not injure yourself. Do not fold the appliance in a jerky fashion.
  • Fold the product in reverse order as described in the section Use.
  • Please make sure that you push the middle of the knob at the center of the telescopic bar to push it down (see fig. 5).
  • Store the product in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight.

Maintenance

  • Check that all the screw connections are sufficiently tightened at regular intervals.
  • If necessary, tighten all screw connections manually.
  • All damaged screw joints should be replaced by a specialist.

Cleaning

WARNING
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage the outer surfaces of the product.

  • Unfold the product to clean it (see section Use).
  • Clean the product using a moistened cloth and a standard commercial household detergent.

Disposal

Dispose of the product via an approved waste disposal company or your municipal waste disposal facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations.n Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt. Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how to dispose of the worn-out product. Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material components for disposal if necessary. The packaging material is labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meanings:

  • 1–7: Plastics,
  • 20–22: Paper and cardboard,
  • 80–98: Composites
