PerceptiMed HNGBAG-G3 ScripClip Hanging Bag Pharmacy Prescription Tracker
Set-Up
Packaging Station:
- Start the scrip Clip app.
- Select Packaging from the pull‐down menu
- Select the color for the Packaging station by clicking on the color square of the strip clip application.
- Position the Barcode scanner and the strip clip Reader as needed.
Point of Sale Station:
- Start the scrip Clip app.
- Select Point of Sale from the pull‐down menu
- Select the color for the station by clicking on the color square of the strip clip application.
- Position the strip clip Reader.
Return Prescription to Stock:
- Start the scrip Clip app.
- Select Return to Stock from the pull‐down menu
- Select the color for the station by clicking on the color square of the scrip Clip application.
- Position the scrip Clip Reader.
Packaging the Prescription
Hanging Bag scrip Clips:

Using the barcode scanner, scan one by one, up to 10 Rx numbers either from the vial or from the prescription paperwork for a customer.
Scanned Rx numbers appear on the screen. -
Place the vials and prescription paperwork in an unused Hanging Bag scripClip. Snap the hanging bag closed.

Hold the Hanging Bag scrip Clip near the scrip Clip Reader and press the orange button on scripClip.
The scrip Clip will flash the station color once. -
scrip Clip application will display, ‘Prescriptions clipped successfully.’
Place the filled hanging bag scrip Clip on the will‐call rack.
Clip‐on scrip Clips :

Using the barcode scanner, scan one by one, up to 10 Rx numbers either from the vial or from the prescription paperwork.
Scanned Rx numbers appear on the screen. -
Place the vials and prescription paperwork in the prescription bag.

Take an unused Clip‐on scrip Clip 3a3a), hold it near the scrip Clip Reader 3b3b), and press the orange button on the scrip Clip.
The scrip Clip will flash the station color once. -
scrip Clip application will display, ‘Prescriptions clipped successfully.’

Attach the scrip Clip to a closed prescription bag. Place the prescription bag in the will‐call area.
Point of Sale: Locate a Prescription
Locate a prescription:
- Search for the Patient using name or date of birth (or both).
- Press “Locate’’ to activate the scripClip’s flashing light or “Locate with Tone” to activate the scripClip’s flashing light and beep.
- scrip Clip application shows “Located” and scrip Clip will flash for 30 seconds. 2a
- Retrieve the package with a flashing light that matches the station color.
- Press the button on the scrip Clip to stop the flashing light.
- Hold the Hanging Bag scrip Clip 2c near the scrip Clip reader, and push the orange scrip Clip button. Or remove the Clip‐on scrip Clip 2d from the prescription bag, hold the scrip Clip near the scrip Clip Reader, and push the scrip Clip button
- scrip Clip will flash the station color once to indicate the transaction is completed.
- scrip Clip application will display ‘Package Retrieved.’
- Place empty scripClip in a storage bin for use on the next prescription package.
Returning Prescriptions to Stock
Return to stock:
- A select the number of days for “Prescriptions older than Days” from the pull-down menu. Press “Search”.
- Scroll to the bottom of the list and press “Locate Packages” or “Locate Packages with Tone“
- scrip Clip application shows “Located in Store” for each prescription on list and the scrip Clips flash for 30 seconds. Retrieve all of the packages with the flashing light that matches the station color.
- Press the button on the scrip Clip to stop the flashing light.
- Hold the Hanging Bag scrip Clip near the scrip Clip Reader, and push the scrip Clip button (or) Remove the Clip‐on scrip Clip from the bag, hold the scrip Clip near the scrip Clip Reader, and push the scrip Clip button.
- scrip Clip will flash the station color once to indicate
- the transaction is completed.
- scrip Clip application will display ‘Package Retrieved.’
- Place the empty scrip Clips in the storage bin for use on the next prescription package.
- Repeat for each package to be returned to stock Select “Packaging” from the pull‐down menu in the upper right corner to return to the Point‐of‐Sale page.
scripClip Tamper Alert (Admin Mode)

Red Alert Message Issued:
- Removing a scrip Clip from a package without using the patient search or the Return To Stock screens causes scrip Clip to issue an alert. When the ‘Alert’ message appears, click on the Alert button, and select the ‘Locate’ command to activate that scripClip.
- After locating the scrip Clip, select the Action marked, ‘Prescription OK’ if the scrip Clip was accidentally removed or dislodged from the package. If the associated package indicates tampering or is missing, select the Action marked, ‘Tampered/Missing Prescription’
Troubleshooting
Message: Try again
- Cause: Package not located in the store
- Solution: Check Rx numbers entered. Press “Locate” or “Locate with Tone” again.
Message: The wrong package was retrieved.
- Cause: scrip Clip scanned does not match Rx numbers.
- Solution: Put scrip Clip back on the package and return to the shelf. Press “Locate” again. Retrieve the correct package.
Message: Unable to read Rx numbers.
- Cause: scrip Clip reader did not receive all Rx numbers from scrip Clip
- Solution: Hold the scrip Clip closer to the scrip Clip Reader and press the orange button on the scrip Clip again.
Event: User is unable to find flashing scripClip in store
- Cause: scrip Clip stops flashing after 30 seconds.
- Solution: Press “Locate Prescriptions” again or press “Locate Prescriptions with Tone”. User does not need to re‐enter Rx numbers.
Message: Unable to communicate with the central service
- Cause: Package not located in store
- Solution: Call 650 941‐7000 ext 5 or send email to support@perceptiMed.com

Battery Replacement:
Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself. Perceptive will replace the battery and verify the device as directed by a service contract. -
Use Restriction:
Do not relocate system and components without a Perceptimed authorized installer. Components are restricted to indoor pharmacy and non‐residential applications. -
Disposal Information:
When this product reaches its end of life, return the device(s) to Perceptimed or dispose as directed by local laws and regulations. The collection and recycling of electronic waste conserves natural resources and protects human health and the environment.

This equipment complies with the FCC radiation exposure limits set forth per
47 CFR §2.1091 for an uncontrolled environment (ie: both occupational and
unrestricted exposure to the public).
The operating power of the scrip Clip and its associated Reader is
deliberately limited. No precautions are required for their use or operation.
The wide-area broadcast station and its antennas must be installed and
operated such that at least a 30cm separation distance is maintained between
these components and the operator or the general public. This is normally
achieved by an overhead ceiling mount of at least 20cm from the level of the
floor. These antennas may not be collocated with antennas for WiFi or other
applications.

Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate

Perceptimed and approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce

chosen so that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not
