1 Introduction

1.1 Brief Introduction

KN1200AC is a wireless signal repeater specially designed for large-sized households designed by HongYu Technology Co., Ltd. It works in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands and
provides a wireless rate of up to 1200Mbps. It is your first choice for enhancing wireless signals and enjoying high-speed WiFi.

1.2 Features

Support dual-band simultaneous Extend, providing up to 300Mbps (2.4GHz) + 867Mbps (5GHz) wireless rate;
The page can be configured to repeater to extend the main WiFi signal, and the configuration is simple;
Provide Power, Ethernet, Repeater and Wi-Fi LED.

1.3 Appearance

1.3.1 LED

bottom.

1.3.2 Button

Reset Button| After pressing and holding the Reset button for more than 5 seconds, when the Repeater LED blink quickly, the repeater will be restored to the factory settings. At

this time, you can release the button and the repeater will automatically reboot.

| Press the WPS button, and then press the WPS button of the main router, the

repeater will automatically connect to the main router via WPS. After the connection is successful, the repeater LED will be on.

2 Use your mobile phone to configure repeater

2.1 Repeater settings

Step 1 Plug the repeater into the power socket and wait for the WiFi LED to blink and the repeater is started.
Step2 Use your mobile phone to search for and connect to the wireless network of the repeater: KN1200AC_XXXX or KN1200AC_5G_XXXX。

repeater; if not, please open the browser and enter “192.168.19.1” in the address bar to log in manually.

Step5 Select extended wireless information. After the repeater automatically searches for the surrounding WiFi, select the wireless network to be extended, and click [Next] to continue.
The default 2.4G and 5G dual-band simultaneous extend, can also be configured to only use single-band extend.

Tips: If the WiFi Name of the router to be extended is not in the list, please click [Refresh].
Step6 Extended WiFi. If the main WiFi to be extended is encrypted, please enter its wireless password.

Step7 Configure the wireless information of the repeater.

Scenario 1: When dual-band is Extended at the same time, the default wireless name of the repeater is followed by the name of the main WiFi with a “-Ext” suffix, and the password is the same as that of the main WiFi, which can be manually modified.

Step8 Settings Finished! The preview page after the setting is completed can help you confirm the previous input content. If the confirmation is correct, click [Finish Settings] to apply
setting. If the Repeater LED light on, it means the extend is successful.

Complete Exit the browser, connect to the wireless name of the repeater, enter the wireless password, and you can go online.

The wireless name and password of the repeater: set in Step 6, if not set, it is same with the extended main WiFi.
If you need to configure the Repeater again, please reset the repeater to the factory setting, and then configure it according to the first configuration method.

3 Set up a repeater using a PC

3.1 First Repeater settings

Step1 Plug the repeater into the power outlet and wait for the WiFi LED to blink and the repeater is started.
Step2 Use a PC to search for and connect to the wireless network of the repeater:
KN1200AC_XXXX or KN1200AC_5G_XXXX。

Step3 Open the browser and enter “192.168.19.1” in the address bar to log in manually.

Step4 After entering the management page, we click [Repeater] to configure

Step6 Repeater Setting. If the wireless WiFi to be extended is encrypted, please enter its wireless password.
You can turn on [Set Repeater WiFi] to modify the wireless name and password of the repeater. It is not enabled by default. The name of the repeater will use the main WiFi name followed by the “-Ext” suffix, and the password is the same as the main WiFi .

Dual-band extend. Do not enable [Set Repeater WiFi]. After click [Apply], the name of the repeater will use the main WiFi name followed by the “-Ext” suffix, and the password is the same as the main WiFi.

Single-band extend. do not enable [Set Repeater WiFi]. After entering the password of the main WiFi, the 5G repeater WiFi information needs to be configured. After click [Apply],
the name of the repeater that configures the extend frequency band will use the name of the main WiFi followed by the “-Ext” suffix, and the password is the same as the main WiFi.

Dual-band. Turn on [Set Repeater WiFi], you can configure the WiFi name and password of the dual-band.
Single-Band. Turn on [Set Repeater WiFi], you can configure the WiFi name and password of the repeater.

Step7 Click [Apply] to complete the setting. Wait for the repeater application to take effect. If the Repeater LED light on, it means the extend is successful.
Complete Exit the browser, reconnect the wireless name of the repeater, enter the wireless password, and you can go online.

If you need to set up the repeater again, you can reset the repeater to the factory setting, and then configure it according to the first configuration method.

3.2 Log in to the repeater management page

If it is the first time to use the repeater or the repeater has been restored to its factory settings, please refer to “3.1 First Repeater Settings”; otherwise, please refer to the following steps to log in to the repeater.
Step1 When the repeater is operating normally, use a computer to search for and connect to the repeater’s WiFi：KN1200AC_XXXX or KN1200AC_5G_XXXX。

Step2 Set the computer’s IP address:192.168.19.2。
Step3 Open the browser and enter “192.168.19.1” in the address bar to log in manually

3.2.1 Status

After the repeater setting is completed, log in to the [Status] page of the repeater, and you can view the repeater status and running status of the extend.

Enter the [Advance] page, you can Reboot, Reset,and Upgrade the firmware of the repeater.
