Safety Tips

  •  Read all instruction carefully.
  •  Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest authorized service center.
  •  Hold plug firmly when disconnecting from power point. Do not plug into multi-sockets with other appliances.
  •  The appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by the person responsible for their safety.
  •  Do not place cooker near inflammable or combustible materials.
  •  Do not place cooker on or near gas stove or electric stove.
  •  Use the rice cooker only with the supplied inner pot. Do not use the inner pot for other purpose than cooking or warming rice.
  •  Do not use the Inner pot on direct heat.
  •  Be cautious of high temperature during cooking. Do not touch the steam valve while cooking. Ensure that the valve is always unobstructed.
  •  Do not allow cord to touch hot surface of the Rice Cooker.
  •  Do not loop the cord around the Rice Cooker after use.
  •  Keep the Rice Cooker in a dry and cool place.

Description of Parts

Operation

  •  Measure desired amount of rice using the measuring cup supplied which is 5 times bigger than regular cup in capacity 180ml/ 1 cup.
  •  Rinse rice thoroughly in other container other than the inner pot of the cooker.
  •  Make sure the inner lid, inner pot & burnt-proof pad are cleaned before use. Place the burnt-proof pad at the bottom of the inner pot before pouring the rinsed rice in. Spread rice evenly around the pot, then add suitable amount of water by using the measurer inside the pot or the measuring cup supplied.
  • Measurement Guide for rice and water: E.g. for 40 cups of rice (= 8 X measuring cup), add water until measure line “7.0 l / 40 cup” or pour water in with the measuring cup provided for 8 times. Never add water higher than
  •  Place the inner pot inside the cooker and ensure the pot is properly fit to the heating plate. Level the rice.
  • Note: Ensure there is no rice or moisture on the outside of the inner pan & the heating plate.
  •  Close the lid until it locks.
  •  Connect the rice cooker to mains.
  •  Press down the switch button. The “cook” indicator will light up and rice will start to cook.
  •  If the switch button fails to stay down, the “warm” indicator will light up & the rice will not be cooked.
  •  When cooking is finished, the switch button will move automatically to “warm” position. Keep the lid closed for about 15 minutes for best results.
  •  Open the lid carefully, allowing steam and condensation to run back into the rice cooker.
  •  Stir the rice and serve as soon as possible.
  •  Disconnect the appliance from the power supply after use. maximum waterline.

Tasty Tips

  •  Before cooking, rinse rice with warm water for 2-3 times & leave it soak in clean water for 30-60 minutes for best result.
  •  Serve cooked rice as soon as possible. Do not leave warming for more than 12 hours.
  •  Do not leave the rice spatula or anything inside the inner pot during keep warm cycle.

How to Remove the Condensation Collector

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • . Always disconnect from the power supply before cleaning.
  • . Allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
  • . Condensation collector, inner lid, inner pot, spatula, measuring cup & burnt-proof pad are washable with soap and water.
  • . Clean the exterior of the rice cooker with a damp cloth.
  • . Do not immerse the cooker in water or in any other liquid.
  • . Always keep the bottom of the inner pot and the heating plate dry & clean.
  • . The inner pot of rice cooker is TEFLEX coated. To avoid scratches do not use abrasive cleaners and use only the supplied spatula.

Troubleshooting
