USER INSTRUCTIONS

Congratulations on purchasing an RV equipped with the most advanced water management system available today! Be sure to read all Caution and User Instructions on the Nautilus Panel and in your Owner’s Manual before performing any operation using the Nautilus Panel System.
NEVER depress check valve on “CITY WATER CONNECTION” with pressure in the line. It will cause irreparable damage to the check valve function.

The Nautilus P1 Panel System will allow you to perform the following functions:

Power fill your freshwater tank for remote or dry camping
Use your pump to supply water to fixtures from freshwater tank
Use your pump to siphon fill or sanitize your freshwater tank from a bucket
Connect to city water at the camping site to supply water to fixtures
Winterize your plumbing lines and fixtures
Bypass hot water heater when winterizing to avoid water heater damage
Rinse black tank to help control odors and prevent sewage buildup
Rinse off items outside the unit with a hot/cold faucet
Connect up to three (3) coax lines with satellite, cable, and auxiliary

IMPORTANT!!

NEVER push check valve on “CITY WATER” connection with pressure in line. This WILL cause irreparable damage to the check valve function.

Nautilus P1 Handle Position and Valve Routing Information

WHITE HANDLE : Receives water from water inlet on front of panel
Sideways – water goes into blue handle diverter
Down – water goes to pump inlet

BLUE HANDLE: Receives water from white handle valve/water inlet on front of panel Sideways – water goes to or comes from a fresh water tank

Down – water goes to fixtures (cold)

BLACK HANDLE: Is an on/off flow through valve that feeds pump from freshwater tank Sideways – water will not flow through valve

Down – water goes to or comes from a freshwater tank

RED HANDLE: Receives water from a cold water supply line
Sideways – water goes to hot water fixtures without going through hot water heater
Up – water goes to hot water heater

GREEN HANDLE: Receives water from the pump Sideways – water goes to a freshwater tank
Up – water goes to fixtures

CONNECTING COAX FOR CABLE AND/OR SATELLITE

For cable TV connection, connect the threaded coax from the source to the “CABLE” connection.
For a satellite TV connection, connect the threaded coax from the satellite dish to the “SAT” connection.
Consult your Owner’s Manual to see if the “AUX” connection has an application.

Power Filling Fresh Water Tank “PowerFILL TANK”

Connect garden hose to inlet labeled “CITY WATER CONNECTION.”
BLACK diverter handle should be facing right as shown.
BLUE diverter handle should be facing left as shown.
WHITE diverter handle should be facing right as shown.
RED diverter handle should be facing up as shown.
GREEN diverter handle should be facing right as shown
Turn water on. The freshwater tank should begin to fill.
Consult your Owner’s Manual for tank capacity. DO NOT OVERFILL THE TANK!
When water has reached desired level in a tank, turn the water off at source.
Disconnect the garden hose at source before disconnecting from Nautilus panel.

Siphon Fill or Sanitize Fresh Water Tank via Pump “SANITIZE”

Connect garden hose to inlet labeled “CITY WATER CONNECTION.”
BLACK diverter handle should be facing right as shown.
BLUE diverter handle should be facing down as shown.
WHITE diverter handle should be facing down as shown.
RED diverter handle should be facing left as shown.
GREEN diverter handle should be facing right as shown.
Place another end of a hose in a container holding water or sanitizing solution.
Push “PUMP” switch so that the light on the switch is lit.
Pump should be running and the fresh water tank should begin to fill.
Consult your Owner’s Manual for tank capacity. DO NOT OVERFILL THE TANK!
When the desired level in the freshwater tank is reached, turn the pump off by pushing the “PUMP” switch so that it is not lit.
Disconnect the garden hose from the inlet on Nautilus panel.

Using Pump to Supply Water from Fresh Tank “DRY CAMPING”

Make sure the freshwater tank has the necessary supply of water.
BLACK diverter handle should be facing down to show
BLUE diverter handle should be facing down as shown.
WHITE diverter handle should be facing right as shown.
RED diverter handle should be facing up as shown.
GREEN diverter handle should be facing up as shown.
Push “PUMP” switch so that the light on the switch is lit. Select pump switch located on inside of the unit or on Nautilus Panel.
Pump should now run and water should be available to all fixtures.
Make sure the pump is turned off when not in use.

Using System from Pressurized Water Source “CITY WATER”

Connect garden to the hose to inlet “CITY WATER CONNECTION.”
BLACK diverter handle should be facing right as shown.
BLUE diverter handle should be facing down as shown.
WHITE diverter handle should be facing right as shown.
RED diverter handle should be facing up as shown.
GREEN diverter handle should be facing up as shown.
Turn “on” water at the source. Water should be available to all fixtures.

Winterizing Plumbing Lines and Fixtures “WINTERIZE”

Turn handles to the “POWERFUL” position as shown. BLACK diverter handle should be facing right.BLUE diverter handle should be facing left. WHITE diverter handle should be facing right. RED diverter handle should be facing up. GREEN diverter handle should be facing right.
Open low point drain on RV to remove water in plumbing lines. Open both a hot and cold faucet to help the drainage process.
Open drain plug on hot water heater to drain water if the unit is equipped with hot water holding tank.
(Contact your dealer or manufacturer for the exact location of low point drain hot water heater.)
Once most water has been drained from plumbing lines, turn RED, BLUE, GREEN, and WHITE handle so they are at a 45-degree angle as shown.
Using “CITY WATER” inlet or low point drain, blow out plumbing lines (40 PSI max) with handles still at a 45-degree angle as shown. This will ensure any trapped water in the plumbing harness is removed.
Close low point drain & hot water heater drain.
Turn handles to the “WINTERIZE” position.
BLACK diverter handle should be facing right as shown
BLUE diverter handle should be facing left as shown.
WHITE diverter handle should be facing down as shown
RED diverter handle should be facing left as shown.
GREEN diverter handle should be facing up as shown.
Connect a short section of garden hose to the inlet labeled “CITY WATER CONNECTION.”
Place another end of the garden hose in the container holding the approved winterizing solution.

Note: A short or cut-off section of the garden hose Should help the pump prime easier.

Push “PUMP” switch so that the light on the switch is lit.
Pump should be running and winterizing solution should begin to flow through pump into plumbing lines and fixtures. (The pump will run when a plumbing fixture is open.)
Open one plumbing fixture, keep it open until winterizing solution appears, then close.
Follow the above procedure until all inside and outside plumbing fixtures have been winterized.
Important! Make sure to run winterizing solution through hot & cold lines on the exterior shower.
Turn BLUE, GREEN, and WHITE handle so they are at a 45-degree angle for 10 seconds as shown.
Push “PUMP” switch so that the light on switch is not lit
Return BLUE, GREEN and WHITE handle to the “WINTERIZE” position as shown.
Disconnect the garden hose from the “CITY WATER CONNECTION” inlet.

Rinsing the Waste Tank “TANK FLUSH”

Connect flexible sewer hose to 4″ dump outlet.
Open the black waste holding tank valve and leave open. Allow tank to drain.
Attach a garden hose to inlet labeled “TANK FLUSH.”
Fully open faucet at the water supply source (40 psi minimum) flushing tank until water appears clear in 4″ discharge hose.
Completely close the faucet at the water supply source.
Disconnect the garden hose from the water supply source.
Disconnect garden hose from “TANK FLUSH” inlet.
Close black waste holding tank valve.
