How to Use the Appliance
Setting the speed
When activating the variable speed button (2), the processing speed corresponds to the setting of the variable speed regulator (1). The higher the setting, the faster the chopping speed. You can adjust the speed conveniently during operation by turning the speed regulator. Maximum processing speed can be achieved by pressing the Turbo button (3). You may also use the Turbo button for instant powerful pulses without having to manipulate the speed regulator.
Blending Shaft (A)
The hand blender is perfectly suited for preparing dips, sauces, salad dressings, soups, baby food, as well as drinks, smoothies and milkshakes. For best results, use the Turbo speed. For detailed processing instructions refer to section A.
Spiralizer Accessory (B)
The spiralizer accessory is perfectly suited for preparing all kind of vegetable pasta, salads or decorative fruit dishes. Do not use the spiralizer accessory (8) to process frozen foods. Processing could damage the blades. The maximum processing amount follows the guideline figure of 5x times filled bowls. Before you continue processing let the appliance cool down for 30 minutes. For detailed processing instructions refer to section B.
Chopper Accessory (C)
The «bc» chopper (9) is perfectly suited for preparing shakes, drinks, purées, batter, crushed ice or for chopping meat, hard cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, vegetables, bread, crackers and nuts. Do not use the chopper accessory to process extremely hard foods, such as unshelled nuts, coffee beans, grains, or hard spices e.g. nutmeg. Processing these foods could damage the blades. Only the «bc» chopper accessory (9) with the special ice blade is allowed to crush ice cubes. For detailed processing instructions refer to section C. «hc» Recipe example: Honey-Prunes (as a pancake stuffing or spread) 50 g prunes 75 g creamy honey 70 ml water (vanilla-flavored)
- Fill the «hc» chopper bowl with prunes and creamy honey.
- Let it rest for 24 hours in the refrigerator at 3°C.
- Add 70 ml water (vanilla-flavored).
- Resume chopping for another 1,5 seconds at maximum speed.
Use the chopper accessory «hc» (optional accessory available at your Braun Service Center; however not in every country).
Smoothie2Go accessory (D)
The Smoothie2Go is perfectly suited for preparing fruit juices, smoothies and milkshakes. Furthermore for cocktails and cool drinks with ice cubes. By using the lid with a drinking spout the mixing container can also be used for take away. Always attach blade assembly to the mixing container before attaching the motor part. For detailed processing, instructions refer to section D.
Caution
- Immediately stop operation and unplug the appliance if liquids or parts of the processing contents leak out.
- Avoid strong shaking, bumping or dropping when in operation.
- The blade assembly should only be operated with an attached mixing container.
- If blending action stops during blending or ingredients stick to sides of the mixing container, there may not be enough liquid to blend efficiently.
Care and Cleaning (E)
For detailed processing, instructions refer to section E.
