• Does this unit have a battery to enable it to work at night when the solar panel does not receive enough light?
  The Stick Up Cam Solar comes with two power sources with your purchase. It uses the Quick-Release Battery Pack to keep your camera powered and the Solar Panel to keep the battery charged.
  

• Do you have to buy the mount in order to put on an outside wall?
  Inside the box, you will find all of the hardware needed to mount the Stick Up Cam to a wall.

• What is the range of the camera?
  If you are asking the range of the wifi of your camera, it also depends on your wifi router. Right now with an inside router, I can place a camera about 50 to 75 yards away and still transmit to it both way and see video. If you put a router with an outside antenna, you can get a bit further as long as there it’s line of sight and nothing in the way to block it. If you are asking about the camera, you can see pretty far during the day, but at night, you are limited by the IR lights on the camera, if you install security or dusk to dawn lights, you can see a lot further than relying on the IR lights for outdoor use.

• Does it have night vision?
  Yes. The night vision is in black and white. I see great without a light to augment the night vision

• Can anyone actually say how long the cord is? A ton of different answers. How about someone from Rin?

• How long of a cable from solar panel to camera?
  I just installed and set up my solar panel and ring camera. The cord from the solar panel to the ring camera is at least 8 feet long, likely 10 feet long allowing the user to place the panel where it is best for sunlight.

• Can you use it without the solar panel?
  Yes you can. I bought my camera in early November and set it up. The solar panel was back ordered so didn’t get it until late December. I finally got around to seeing it up this past weekend (end of February) and the battery life on my cam was 32%. Now, that said, I did have my cam settings set for battery efficiency (not the lowest settings but not what I set it to once I hooked up the solar panel)

• On the stick up cam solar, i want to put it out by my gate. harsh enviroment. outside/cold/ hot/ rainy. will this work in this enviroment?
  I live in Rochester NY (pretty damn cold in the Winter) and my Stick up Can Solar for my back yard is on the side of the townhouse. I’ve never had a problem with it! Enjoy!

  Yes. I do see a lag though between when someone enters the alert zone and when I get notified.

  it has six feet longer I don’t know if you can extend.

• Does the camera come with the battery? Or is it separate?
  It comes with a rechargeable battery.

• What if I dont have an existing door bell, Can I still use it?
  Yes

• Does it come with the battery charge
  It come with a usb cable and you need to have the plug. Just like the one for cell phone

• Can I record on demand without motion sensor triggering? Will it include audio recording on demand?
  Yes. Not sure the duration allowance
