Using Instruction

STEP 1
Plug the Extender into a power outlet near your Router.

STEP 2
Turn on the Extender with an upward flick of the “ON” switch. The switch is on the left side of the device.

STEP 3
Go to your PC or Phone settings, Open Wi-Fi, and turn it on. Search for the network name “WiFi Extender” and click on it to connect.

STEP 4
Open a web browser and input:

STEP 5
Once the page loads, enter the default password, “admin” into the password box. Click the LOGIN button to continue.

STEP 6
Click on the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to extend, e.g., Home Wi-Fi.

STEP 7
Type your Wi-Fi password into the Password box. Click the Save Setting button.

When the steps are complete, your Extender automatically reboots. Place it in the best location for better service (halfway between your router and the Poor signal area.)

The Extender’s default name is your (Wi-Fi name – Plus), e.g., HOME Wi-Fi – Plus. The password remains the main router password.

Troubleshooting

  1. My Wi-Fi says connected but I have no internet connection.

    • If the Wi-Fi is connected, but there is no internet, check that the router’s Wi-Fi is actively working.
    • Check the status of the Wi-Fi indicator light. If it stays on, it means it is connected to the router successfully, and it might be more of an IP conflict. You can try to set it up in Bridge mode so that the devices connected to both routers can interact with each other.
    • If the Wi-Fi indicator light keeps flashing frequently, that means the connection failed, and you may have entered the wrong password. It could also be for some other reasons, so try to restore factory settings. To do that, press the WPS button for about 10 seconds. Set up the Extender again.
  2. Why are some devices at home (printer, CCTV camera, TV, ‘Phone) unable to connect to the Extender?

    • This means the device does not recognize the Extender.
    • The device should be in the same network as your router. You may set up the Extender in bridge mode to see if it will work.
  3.  Why is the connection slower when connected to the Extender than when connected to Wi-Fi from the main router?

    • The Wi-Fi Extender supports 2.4G networks and not SG.
    • The Wi-Fi Extender is used to extend the range of your Wi-Fi (which your main router Wi-Fi can’t cover). It does not increase internet speed.
    • Sometimes, the signal (coverage or speed) drops due to external influences—a microwave oven, nearby cell towers nearby, a neighbor’s Wi-Fi on the same channel, walls, and partitions in a building made of certain materials blocking a Wi-Fi signal. We apologize!
    • Try the Extender in different positions: place it at different angles or locations for a better signal.
  4. Why am I unable to enter the webpage?
If you cannot open the webpage, follow these steps:

    • 1Open your browser on your cellphone/PC, and enter the digits “192.168.10.1” into the adress bar. You can also connect the Wi-Fi Extender to your PC with an Ethernet cable, then open your browser and enter the same digit “192.168.10.1”.
If you are still unable to open the webpage, please check and try these:

    • Check if you are connected to the Wi-Fi Extender during setup. This is necessary because before connecting to the router, the Wi-Fi Extender should have no internet access. Your mobile will usually auto-connect to the other Wi-Fi or ask if it is connected to the present Wi-Fi or not. You must be connected to the Wi-Fi Extender during setup.

    • Try to press the WPS/RST button for about 10 seconds to restore factory settings and then try again.

    • Disable your mobile’s data during setup.

    • Use another mobile or PC to try.

  5. What’s the Extender’s range?

    • 2500sq ft
  6. How far should the Extender be from the router?

    • It should be between the modem and the area with a low signal. The position must be able to receive a good Wi-Fi signal from the modem router.
  7. Should the Ethernet cable be connected from the router to the Extender?

    • No, you should only plug the cable from the Extender to a computer or a game console.
  8. Does the Extender increase my Internet speed

    • No, it increases the range of your Wi-Fi.
  9. Does the Extender w

    • No, only with 2.4G.
